Arizona Sen. John McCain condemned President Donald Trump’s remarks at a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki on Monday, calling it “one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory.”
“The damage inflicted by President Trump’s naiveté, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake,” McCain said in a statement. “President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world.”

I understand it's just one man's opinion, but the T word is floating around the body politic attributing it to Trump probably more than any other president in my memory, which goes back to Eisenhower.

You know the old saying, "If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's probably a (Donald) duck.
Okay, i updated the adage. But, aside from my terrible humor, this is no laughing matter.
The invertebrate repubs in Congress and the Senate need to grow a spine.
I realize there is a possibility of crying wolf, but I think impeachment is the right thing to do, given recent over the top and blatantly treasonous things he has said.
(might be paraphrased, quoting from memory)
"Europe is a foe"
"I Believe Putin when he said Russia did not interfere"
"America kills people, too" ( a reply about Putin's murdering journalists )
And the list goes on, but why bother when Trump could shoot someone on 5th avenue and his base wouldn't mind, as he has claimed himself. For a long time, I thought it was just a metaphor, of course you can't take rhetorical statement like that literally. But lately, I'm seriously beginning to believe the statement can be taken literally.
Many are speculating that Putin has something on Trump, and, if so, and I tend to agree ( what else explains Trump's behaviour? ) the FBI is probably going to expose him soon. I think Mueller is waiting until after the November election because to do so now would be interpreted as trying to influence the election. He does not want to repeat Comey's colossal error.
But, repubs and Trumpies ( especially those on this forum ) would have us believe that it's nothing more than TDS.
Yes, it is TDS, Trump Delusion Syndrome.
Man, you got a real Duck theme going on! :2razz:Donald Duck is a freaking joke.

Nice! :thumbs:Bring no lesser ducks before me. He wears a sailor suit and a bright ribbon in his hair. Come on, man.
Yeah, that's the way I see it.
