Tough decision

I have been a decisive person my whole life. Yet here I am, enmeshed in the fight of my life, and I'm bewildered.

Surgery? Absolutely not. That's final. Mind made up.

And then . . .

Surgery? I should probably go that route.

Either way, I don't want to look back with regrets. I've never done that.

It doesn't have to be "the right decision." It just has to be a good one.

I think this blog may turn out to be therapeutic.

That sounds like a mess. Whatever it is i sure hope you come up with the right way forward. You make a well stuck together impression, though. The chances are good you make a good decision.

Surgery is fundamentally risky. Sometimes it's by far the best way to go, but my general take on it is: do it only if all other possible alternatives are going to be significantly worse.

Cannot you decide to go with surgery later on after radiation and chemo fail first?

I would like to say something profound and philosophical,
but you need some reason to carry on, some goal or path.
Surly there are places to still be sceen, or things still to be done.
Perhaps someone who could benefit from your keen insight and wisdom.
The desire to live, is perhaps half of the battle.
