We will let the Kid have the honor of making them up....this might give him the edge needed to only seem like an Idiot in comparison, rather than Mental.
Please....begin PtsdKid.

***LOL...I opened up those links and found you challenging me to debate, but again you were short on specifics. Was there a specific debate topic in either of those links? One link suggested that I present the topic. How many times do I have to tell you that all my debatable topic are upstairs where they belong? While you are obviously rather slow in getting the message, I will still entertain the notion of debating you down here in the despair basement, if I see you present a topic worthy of comment for my political expertise.
Finally....its about freakin time.
Debate Topic: Future Energy Policy for the United States of America
***I see you found the topic of future energy policy for America. Now since you want to debate this issue--lets see your views on it. Could be I'll agree with your position (s). If not, then will be ready to rock and roll.
BodiSatva said:ptskid, that was not much of an opening statement.
***See the idea is to lure them into a false sense of security. I have no doubt that you'll be more than impressed when I overpower him with my closing statements, and the officials here will raise my hand in victory. We'll even let Teach be the master of ceremonies. Now be patient--we're just waiting on Teacup's opening statements on this energy issue. I can hardly wait! Just don't lose faith with Teacup in this long drawn out process. Ball is in his court as we wait.

Would that be the best way to address the car masses and lower our need for oil in a shorter term?
I for one cant really afford to run out and buy a Hybrid
ptsdkid said:***Unfortunately, just like the theme behind Bush's privatizing part of Social Security; those already receiving Social Security will have been grandfathered into the old system. Its the new Social Security recipients of the future that would have the option of seeing their SS tax monies grow by investing in the stock market. Same goes for these hybrid autos; when the time comes (say 2007) the new car owner will have an added financial incentive to purchase an auto that meets the energy saving standards as laid out in the plan. He or she will also have the option to buy or keep an antique gas-guzzling SUV if they like. I like to think that those opting for the latter are pro choice liberals. LOL!
tecoyah said:I knew you could do this sh!t Kid.....That somewhere in there was an ability to debate without hating one group or another. It would be so very pleasant if you would bring this to your everyday persona on the board, and prove to everyone that there is more to ptsdkid than meets the eye. Any chance
you would try?
ptsdkid said:***I think that I had mentioned liberals twice in that piece. Sure hope I didn't come across as looking like I 'love' liberals. While I said many times that I do not hate anyone--I sure as hell hate certain ideologies--with liberalism riding high upon that list.
tecoyah said:My hope in this thread, and indeed this entire excersize in getting you here, is to try to get you to focus more on debate than debasing.
***Think of my debasing liberalism as a bonus to my defining their actions and thoughts. While it remains my intention to debate liberalism at every turn, I do so having full knowledge and ability to expose their wickedness as well. You may notice that nearly every posting from liberals include an opening statement bashing Bush, or of bashing his policy. So I'm merely returning the bashing favor with my postings. Mine may seem to have more bite, as the bashing of Bush seems to be more frivolous in nature.

And yet...You yourself define me as a Liberal, and my Bush Bashing is very limited. I will admit to pointing out issues with Policy.....but as a general rule do not attack the man hiimself. My hope is you might become somewhat more focused on the actual Issues involved. rather than the Ideal.
