Per the suggestion of friendly DP denizen Tecoyah, this is the place where Auftrag and I will (if he is amenable to this) debate the merits of National Socialism.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think that DP has come to a crossroads of sorts. We've made it clear that we will not tolerate obscenely racist/bigoted postings that attack a group, but we will not stifle calm and logical arguments, no matter how vile we may find them. However, this does not mean that we are precluded from exposing them for the sham they are. With that in mind, I'd like to once and for all deal with the misguided beliefs that this group has. Auftrag seems to be one of the more well-spoken members of this philosophy, and while I'm certainly not the best debater on this topic, I called shotgun no blitz, so tough luck =P. Those of you who are better at this than me can pick it up if I lose.

I haven't run this by Auftrag yet, so this is just an idea, but I propose that he lay out the case for National Socialism, while I offer a critique and attempt to show the flaws in the argument. I would ask that for now, posts be limited to he and I for the sake of maintaining a linear argument. All other rules for Lover's Quarrel debates operate per teacher's guidelines. I will not be modding anything, save to delete posts from non-Auftrag/RightatNYU members.

So, I'm opening up the floor to Auftrag, if he agrees with these guidelines.

Pity....we wont likely see any reply, he seems at least, intellectually Honest in his beliefs, and competent. I seriously hope he steps up to the plate.

I started a thread in the Lover's Quarrel thread, but the person it was meant for was not very active there. Tecoyah came, said something and this way managed to become the main person in this thread. Felicity said something mean to him and he left. He came back occasionally, but he is not a regular anymore, I guess.
 
Tecoyah was actually the only person here who made it to my ignore list.

I wanted to test it and he was the best candidate, because he made a thread where he linked to pictures of I don't know, hundreds or thousands of American invaders who died in Iraq.

He did not stay on my ignore list for long.
 
If I remember correctly, Tecoyah stopped being a regular almost at the same time like a friend of him, who made some relly funny posts but had this Patriot Guards thing running. To be a Patriot Guard is weird in my opinion.
 
I still lurk on occasion, but you are correct that issues with Felicity took alot of the fun away from my time here...I let her get to me. ngdawg, I believe stops in here once in awhile as well, but SHE has been quite busy lately, as have I.

Now...Get on with this tortured debate would ya'

If you think, Felicity is disgusting, then you don't know koi. This koi only made four posts so far and I'm still grrrrr about her. Koi's are silent, most of them, she should try to learn from them.

Just a courtesy post. Both ngdawg, and mixed are doing well ( I see them frequently elsewhere) so no worries.
