No. Does being captured in a war negate all rights and make one unworthy of common decency?

No to rights, and yes to decency. War is war and a prisoner is a prisoner. Don't confuse the acts of war with the court system and certainly don't mistake the Constitution for world law.

If he follows the steps of Ruth Bader Ginsburg then he wants to consult foriegn law instead of the constition.

If these men are not guilty, they should not be imprisoned. If they are innocent, they do not have any means to proving it. That is an injustice.

No ****! If they are not guilty, they should not be imprisoned. Why are you trying to argue common sense?

How do you know they are not guilty? How do you know that releasing one, because you don't have definitive proof will result in three dead Marines and twenty Iraqi civilians? In war, the suspicion of guilt will land you in a camp. This has always been the case and this will always be the case.

Why are we even discussing these matters? You know we two exist on the extreme opposite side of the spectrum.

We always be the right and let our enemies be the wrong, regardless of the costs.

Does that mean we are to avoid one another like some sort of plague?

The Nazis had some really good anti-partisan tatics that were very effective. Perhaps the Marines should adopt those tatics heh heh. Just kidding Gunny.

Come on Bill, you got to tell us about this guy. You bring his name and then offer no explanation and it sounds like it would be pretty cool.

OK. So it's Jose. So what. Same guy. Bad scene for our country. Perfect example of our Constitution getting scraped! No one can argue we have more civil rights under Bush. We have less. And it is going to get worse.
