John Rood: Top Pentagon policy official who warned against withholding Ukraine aid resigns at Trump's request - CNNPolitics
Isn't it nice of Filthy Donnie Douchebag to make it so clear with this purge fest he's on that on some level even he realizes that he's filthy and that he thinks this makes him look better when it actually does the opposite. But so goes the deranged "thinking" of a narcissistic psychopath (who's not very bright as narcissists go). Every pardon, every tweet and every word that comes out of his ****-filled mouth is like a massive flashing bright red neon arrow pointing at him that reads "I'M GUILTY AF!!!!"
Officials tell CNN that Rood has differed with the administration on a number of issues including Afghanistan and Ukraine. Officials have said Rood often was perceived as not embracing some of the changes in policy the White House and senior Pentagon officials wanted.
One official said some examples of Rood's differing views from some of Trump's key policy stances included being skeptical about peace talks with the Taliban as well as the administration decision to scale down military exercises with South Korea during talks with North Korea and him pushing for a more aggressive approach to Russia by supporting Ukraine.
From the CNN article -
While it's good to have people around you that have differing opinions in regard to your policy it is still their job, if they choose to stick around, to facilitate YOUR policy. The article doesn't go into much detail about how those differences of opinion manifested themselves but there is certainly the possibility that those differences hindered the implementation of policy rather than facilitated the implementation. At any rate, is seems that parting ways might have been the best option for both Trump and Rood.
Well, at least the resignation wasn’t requested via Twitter, so there’s that.
Plausible deniability, man. You don't want any folk hanging around that make official notices that what you are doing is illegal. You want to be able to maintain an air of plausible deniability.

"Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
You're fired
I expect you to be out of here by 2"
The same people who wouldn't let Obama pull out of the middle east wars are now running up against Trump who doesn't care if you retire the people of the US will be better for it when we end these endless middle eastern wars.
Thanks for the low-information* citizen report. Trump has been sending troops back into the ME and Afghanistan by the thousands over the past two months.
Trump Didn’t Shrink U.S. Military Commitments Abroad—He Expanded Them
* Is this due to just laziness on your part of on orders from Cult of Filthy Donnie?
Can't support the administrations policies. Don't let the door hit you on the way out! Bye Bye....eace

I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.[1]
