Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) suggested Sunday that Michael Cohen's acknowledgement that he lied to Congress about negotiations to develop a Trump Tower in Moscow that took place well into the President Trump's 2016 campaign raises fresh questions about whether the Kremlin holds leverage over the president.

"The fact that he was lying to the American people about doing business in Russia, and that the Kremlin knew he was lying, gave the Kremlin a hold over him. And one question we have now is does the Kremlin still have a hold over him because of other lies they know about," Nadler said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Trump denied having any financial involvement in Russia at least 5 times during the campaign. He was lying & the Russians knew that he was lying. Was Trump compromised by the Kremlin from the start?

There is no doubt that Trump has been a Russian asset for a couple of decades now and they most certainly have things over him - not the least of which is a long history of financial aid without which he would have been out of business. All of this has been documented in three excellent recent books

HOUSE OF TRUMP HOUSE OF PUTIN by Craig Under

THE APPRENTICE by Greg Miller

RUSSIAN ROULETTE by Isikoff & Corn

We need not wait for the final Mueller report - its all there right now for anyone who cares to read it. And I hope that would be every American.

Trump's behaviour seems to indicate Cohen is truthful. It's also looking a bit shady for Trump in relation to the Saudis, too.

I think we'll get some answers here when the new House gets installed, and they subpoena Trump's relevant tax and other financial documents in relation to these two despots.

Through Twitter Trump has essentially confirmed Cohen's claims. Further investigations and subpoenas will merely formalize what we already know (and add to it, I'm sure).

Clearly, it doesn't bother you that your president is a crook. Will you continue to cry the name "Clinton" as the fat ass in chief is impeached? Where is your moral compass, dude.

You just sound angry at having your party exposed for the traitorous elitists they are. The answer is not to falsely equivocate, the answer is to develope a higher standard and hold your representatives to it, not deny and defend traitors.

So sadly predictable.
