Every single day since Trump took office there has been some piece of news about something that Trump has done. Even with Obama, who the Republicans hated, there was never the amount of daily disruption that is being felt with Trump. It is getting tiresome to the point that addressing the normal daily issues of work, family, kids, etc., is now secondary to addressing the problems the nation is having with this crazy man.

Do we need all this disruption, upheaval, hate for our fellow man that is of another party, and constant hacking of our senses?

Can we please go back to where we were prior to Trump? Can we go back to not worrying daily about border security, about fair Trade, about insecurity and childish acts of our leader, about the Senate and the House and them doing their job, and about fighting among us and start keying back to worrying about our job, worrying about our kids doing the right thing, and about our own relationships?

I am 73 years old and I don't remember one single time in my entire life when my life was so filled with things I could do nothing about. Worrying about things that I only worried about once or twice a year and now worrying about them every single minute of the day.

This is ridiculous and it is the direct result of having a President that needs/requires daily attention of his ego. Trump is now plastered into my psyche from morning to bedtime. I still remember dreaming about a vacation or a sexual encounter and now all I dream about is Trump's orange face and hair. Ugh.........

I periodically just stop watching/listening/reading about politics. It makes a world of difference. It is like a mini vacation for your brain.

The narcissist MUST be noticed!

I wish I could do that. Nonetheless, I am what is called a solution person, meaning that I was always a person that faced problems and found solutions to them. Walking away from a problem was never something I did. In fact, I always despised people that could not face their problems as doing that means that no solution can ever be found.

In addition, I love my country and want the best for it but see in Trump someone that will do untold and unforgiving damage to it and it is my nature to try to find a solution for it.

I came to this debate board with the intention that if I could at least change one mind or help 1 person see the light that I was in effect helping to find a solution. Nonetheless, coming to this site has been "more of the same" as Trump supporters are as sick as Trump is and the awareness of how big the problem actually is has been even more depressing.

It seems that reason, common sense, and facts are no longer important to a large portion of the populace and without those 3, no solution can ever be found.

We are heading downhill fast and there is no way to stop it. What was once a great nation, is now on its way to being second class and just one of the bunch.

Curious, what exactly is Trump doing that has you in such distress? It can’t be the economy, It’s doing better than it has been in decades with GDP. unemployment and other. Could it be the military? Yes, he is resupplying them after years of neglect and trying to pull back as the worlds police force at the same time, is that a problem for you? Could it be the immigration battle that has you all out of sorts? You do get that Pelosi and Schumer in the past were always for strategic placement of walls/fences to reduce unwanted and illegal imagination, their current nonsense is just partisan hackery of the worst sort, folks suffer.

Here’s a thought, Trump is a total idiot, so how did he manage to get the country economically sound, how did he get our military back on track? Was the previous administrations that inept?

Here’s a top tip, stop watching the lunatic left MSM and you won’t be so stressed.

If you have to ask then there are no words that can be said that you will understand.

Keep in mind that discussion boards like these attract the kinds of people you are talking about like flies. My video response was only half-joking. The harder you focus on the fly paper, the harder it is to believe that your house isn't crawling with flies.

So, you don’t have the debate skills with addressing the three simple points that I highlighted, got it… Interesting, if you are so intrenched with the partisan narrative why whine with the saturation of that false view? Those are your peeps..

Let me just say that with Trump, all ethics, morals, principles and humanity are gone. Only money and greed remains and humankind is not set up to live only loving money.

If Trump had accomplished what you say he has accomplished (which to me is doubtful given that they are/were Republican goals and any Republican President would have accomplished them) but accomplished them without attacking our allies, embracing our enemies and doing it in a positive way without hate, fear, and disruption, then I would give him credit for doing something positive. Nonetheless, you always have to look at the price paid to accomplish something.

If the Devil offers you a great life at the payment of your soul, have you actually accomplished something? I would say no, because you have lost what is most important in your life, which is your soul.

Nonetheless, given that to you this is the way to live, it suggests that my words have no meaning. You do not value ethics, morals, principles or humanity, so debating with you on what is better or worse, is useless as you have achieved what you want, but I (and about 66% of the population) have not.

Simply as that. Does that answer your question?

I wonder if anyone on this board ever changed their mind.

I also wonder what would be a better avenue to try to change people's minds. Most likely minds to be changed are "independents" that do NOT follow politics (and thus would not be on this board) but only hear bits and pieces on the news or from Facebook feeds. You'd have to figure out how to change THEIR minds...

Yes, we can see you will not debate in good faith with statements such as “all ethics, morals, principles and humanity are gone”, Then apply that because you are incapable of any vision past what you view and digest from the lunatic liberal MSM, Curious, would you like to edit that you are a (73) year old man that shouldn’t have any interest in trolling this forum?

Unfortunately what you say is true. Nonetheless, one has to try, no? Isn't reason and common sense still a desired objective for all of us?

I have asked the same question on this board many times before and no one has been able to prove me wrong. Show me where Trump has ever shown ethics, morals, principles and humanity and I will cede on my feelings for Trump. So far, none of the Trump supporters have been able to do it. Mind you, I am talking about human traits and that means you can go back to Trump's childhood to show me any of those. You will not be able to find one single instance where Trump did something thinking of someone else first and not himself. I don't even believe his own family and kids come first.

If that is the kind of man that you embrace, what does that say about you?

As far as your last question about trolling this forum. Let me say that I have a God to respond to and not only in this life but the afterlife, meaning that my results on doing what I do are not important. It is the intention that is important and it is above anything that has to do with this life but about my soul.

As such, I will continue to "troll" where there is a need for me to troll in order to accomplish what hopefully will get me through Heaven's door and not through the Devils workplace.

Evidently, that is not important to you but it is to me.

He has Fox "News", and a plethora of alt-right political porn sites to create a reality suitable to him. He's bought into the flim flam on an emotional level, he's lost to it, clearly. It's typical of his base.

Wow, the above post is all kinds of twisted and unbalance. Debating, responding or other is pointless

I've changed my mind since joining here 7 years ago. Most of the older posters will tell you that I was a pretty rabid Republican, and was very vocal about my disdain for the Democrats. Since Trump won the nomination, my eyes have been opened - not just by the actions of Trump, but by posts by his supporters on this very board.

I wouldn't support a Republican for dog catcher right now.

Does that nonsense ever get old with typing?

Thank you! I did not know you existed - please replace the horse in your avatar with a unicorn! Seriously though, I am happy to hear what you said more than you can imagine.

OP...hate to say it...but we are addicted to this trainwreck.

If you want to stop hearing about Trump...listen to music...watch Netflix....hunt a deer...otherwise, this is your life.

Great advice but then after hunting that deer, listening to music and watching Netflix, I still have to face the damage that Trump is causing on my neighbors, my community and my country. In addition, I will also have to face the fact that instead of trying to do something to fix the problem, I was out hunting deer, listening to music and watching Netflix.

That is not who I am.

What sticks in my craw the most is that up to now (throughout all the years that I have been alive and of thinking age) never has there been a President that put us all into such disarray. What is even worse, is that 33% of the population supports this lunatic and his actions, which means we (as a society and as a United country) are losing it. Not since the Civil War have we seen this and that is the most depressing because not only are we no longer the "United" States of America but we are now the laughingstock of the world by having elected such a incompetent, egocentric, uninformed, immoral man as Trump.

It is just about the worst scenario that I could have ever envisioned happening to this once great country.

I'll give it a shot!

It can't be the economy? Where were you at the end of the year, the stock market is looking for a reason to crash and trump is chomping at the bit to give it to them.

Could it be the military? Yes, he (trump) is resupplying them after years of neglect … . What neglect we've had the strongest military in the world by a factor of at least 8 for more than a decade.

trying to pull back as the worlds police force at the same time … . Against the better judgment of career Military Officers and Diplomats.

Could it be the immigration battle that has you all out of sorts? All these migrants bringing NONTHING to America … like this young lady from Guatemala.

Trump is a total idiot, so how did he manage to get the country economically sound, how did he get our military back on track? Was the previous administrations that inept? He didn't get the country economically sound, the graph of economic improvement hasn't changed in the last 4 to 5 years. He hasn't improved the military at all and, correct, previous administrations, if you go back to Dubya, were inept and got us into two unfunded wars. I completely agree with your first point in that sentence though.

Here's a top tip, pull your nose away from Faux News and Lush Rimbaw. I don't watch MSM; btw.

Do you like fighting with your wife or your neighbor every day of your life? Do you enjoy feeling hate instead of love? Do you want to hear negatives instead of positives every minute of every day? Is fear of the future something that drives you, leaving goals to be attained behind?

How much does a growing economy help in these quests?

How often do you actually run into an illegal alien yourself and then when you do how does it actually affect you?

How much are you personally involved with the Military and how much do you actually care if the have an extra billion or not?

Sounds to me like you are saying it's not Trump...rather, it's your own character that demands that you "do something to fix the problem".

As we used to say in my former military life..."Sounds like a personal problem."

btw, there's only one reason for the "disarray" of this President...and it doesn't come from Trump.

Turn off your TV.
