There is more racial discord in our country than at any other time in my life.
And that's all coming from the left. All of it.
Interest rates are being kept artificially low, yet installment interest (which I consider a tax on the poor) is almost at an all-time high.
Interest is based on the ability to repay the debt. The better your credit rating, the better your interest will be. People who buy on installment are almost guaranteed to have poor credit, thus they get higher interest rates. That's just how it works.
Governmental rules and regulations are impeding small business and driving up the cost of home ownership.
I just bought a house and it wasn't expensive at all. My mortgage is positively cheap and my interest rate is in the 2s.
Government bodies have taken on a behemoth life of their own at taxpayer expense.
That's absolutely true.
Public sector pensions are bankrupting our cities.
That's also true, caused almost entirely by public sector unions demanding high wages and cities (and states) capitulating without having any means of actually paying it.
People using our hospital emergency rooms as primary care physician services are driving up the cost of medicine.
To a certain degree. The real cause of high health care are the insurance industries, which add another layer of expense to the system. If people would just pay for their expenses out of their own pockets and the insurance industry went away entirely, things wouldn't be nearly so expensive. You also have to remember that a huge part of medical expense is the ridiculous amounts of malpractice insurance that doctors have to carry, in the off-chance that some disgruntled patient decides to sue. I've got friends who are doctors who have never had anything bad happen in their lives, yet pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in insurance premiums, just in case. That money has to come from somewhere.
Police departments are inadequately training their LEOs in de-escalation and closing their eyes to misconduct.
I don't even know if that is as big a problem as people make it out to be. The real problem is that you have groups like BLM that preach violence against the police, but don't bother saying "don't commit crimes". Law abiding citizens rarely have problems.
Class warfare is being actively promoted in our political arena.
Again, by the political left.
Our immigration policies are so outdated as to benefit the immigrant rather than the USA.
Agreed. We need to take only people that are the best for the country. Just because you want to come here doesn't mean we should want you.
The cost of a college education is beyond the reach of the middle class without student loans that start out our graduates in crushing debt.
That's the fault of the government, which started handing out money willy-nilly so that anyone could go to college. The universities, knowing the government will just give them whatever they charge, started jacking up their rates. And because students don't have to work hard to go to college, they don't work hard while they are there and they often get out of college with worthless degrees and can't get a job and pay off their debts.
We are marching down the road to socialism.
Again, blame the left. Are we seeing a pattern here?
The power of incumbency and lack of term limits make it almost impossible for new and innovative approaches to problem-solving to be implemented. The machine is in charge.
But that's because the American people are stupid and lazy. It's easier to just keep voting the same crooked idiots in than to think about what we really need. And because of that, people we really need in office don't bother to run because they know that the American people will vote for someone offering free stuff over someone who tells the truth.
