Three US soldiers charged with murdering Iraqi prisoners
Personally I find this deeply concerning and yet rather unsurprising at the same time. The very context of the invasion of Iraq has made events such as this near inevitable. And what is horrifying is the scale of the problem, the slaughter of 24 civilians by US troops has troubling echoes of your past conflict in Vietnam... and yet one can’t help but feel this is just the tip of an ice burg
