i don't watch fox, so i don't really know or care. when journalists start covering the story, i'll certainly read the articles.
... journalists didn't cover Kermit Gosnell either. Not something you know or cared about?i don't watch fox, so i don't really know or care. when journalists start covering the story, i'll certainly read the articles.
heh heh ... funny how that responsibility thing works, huh.
In a press conference just now Obama was asked about this and he said he didnt know anything about people being blocked from testifying. Is it reasonable to expect that Obama would have been told about these whistleblowers?
we should probably put it in context.
Terrorist attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
there have been a lot of embassy attacks. i don't recall another one fueling a conspiracy theory, but i could be wrong. i'd like to know why the others haven't been given similar scrutiny.
edit to add : fox and msnbc have zero journalistic credibility. they surrendered their integrity as part of their business models.

Well, on second thought, if you say you don't care about what Gosnell did, I'd probably say that's believable.
How many resulted in deaths? How many resulted in a dead ambassador? I'm guessing not a lot. I also wonder how many tool 8 hours or more?
The obasmalovers willingness to sweep this under his Teflon protection by the leftist propaganda we call "media" in this country is pathetic and shameful.
Plausible deniability. He probably doesn't. He just knows his staff is supposed to "handle it." If it's even true. If it's true that people were threatened with losing their jobs, it'll come out. It doesn't take much. It's not like someone says, "If you talk, you're through." What they say with a smile on their face is: "If you share details about Benghazi that are inappropriate, it could harm your career. Just a head's up, don'tcha know."
it's been on NPR and NBC nightly. you should flip the channel occasionally.
I'm highly skeptical of the story because it's fox's bread and butter. and yes, many of the story's proponents act like truthers. as for the rest of your freak out, no.
You profess to be open minded while labeling everyone involved in the story (Fox) as truthers and conspiracy nuts. That's what conspiracy means these days, nutjobs.
I am pretty open minded. I do admit losing my patience somewhat when it comes to conspiracies, though. mea culpa.
that being said, time will tell. if fox's agenda-driven coverage turns out to be the rare Enquirer / Edwards scenario and Obama really is some sinister character directing a top-down Nixonian conspiracy, I'll acknowledge that I was incorrect in this instance. hopefully the other side will agree to the same terms if this ends up not being Watergate.

Washington Post - President Obama needs to watch more Fox News
Rest of the media still isnt interested in "a story about whistleblowers allegeging harrasment for wanting to testify about the fauilure of the govt to respond to a Embassy attack." Go figure.
Whether intentional or by accident, it makes you sound like a damn fool when you come up with superficial stuff like that.
This is the kind of coverage NPR gives the trial ...
WHYY/NEWSWORKS REPORTER TAUNYA ENGLISH: I don't think we'll really know why Gosnell--why we won't hear from the accused--I think as I was talking to other court watchers, that was not really surprising that Gosnell himself did not take the stand. What did surprise some people is that this is a physician who had worked in our community for 30 years, cared for women in all of that time and we didn't hear from one character witness or one person who was put on the stand to say that he was a competent physician. The defense team it seems is really just trying to show that some of these children, and that's the term that the prosecutors use, were not actually born alive. There was some grisly testimony about whether a breath, or a leg movement, or a jerk of an arm really qualified as being born alive."
[...]
ENGLISH: You know one of the things I think that will be continued to be talked about way after this trial is over is a statue that we have that some people call the Born Alive statue. Many people believe that anti-abortion activists helped get that erected in Pennsylvania...
Sounds like good coverage to me. Even though it was edited by WND or whatever crap site you read.
She points out that the guy has been practicing for 30 years and they couldn't even dig up a single character witness.
That's actually fair and balanced reporting. I guess you probably haven't seen much of that though, which is why you are unfamiliar with it.
then generate the interest
have your republican congressmen and senators issue subpoenas requiring the supposed whistleblowers to testify before congress with congressional immunity
it's that easy
but because we see the republicans refusing to exercise this simple act, using the powers available to them, tells us there is actually nothing new to be found out

There will be new hearings. Issa just announced that. Do you approve? And wanna bet Issa's gonna get trashed for it? Wake up, dude.
Good morning, Bubba. :2wave:
With all the revelations coming out into the open lately on a variety of subjects, I wonder what criteria is used to determine who gets trashed on a given day? That's the one we should pay attention to, IMO, because it's probably true if it's denied and trashed!
Hey Pol.
One of the variety of which you speak ...
There was a report in the UK Mail that the Saudi's sent a letter to the Obama admin warning them about Tamerlan. Did you see that? Remember Obama had an emergency last minute unscheduled meeting with the Saudi rep right after the bombing and everyone assumed it was about that initial suspect? Maybe it was and maybe it was also about their Tamerlan warning.
I didn't see that, but there is so much crap going on, who knows? We're learning more and more bad news about this all the time, including the fact that Tamerlan collected welfare benefits for years, that the spider web is getting stickier and stickier. Too bad we have to read foreign newspapers to find out what's going on here!
