Thousands of anti-tax "tea party" protesters took to the streets Wednesday in some of the nation's biggest cities -- including Boston, Tulsa and Sacramento -- voicing their opposition to high taxes and big government spending.
Close to 2,000 demonstrators in Boston -- some dressed in colonial wigs with tea bags hanging from their glasses -- held signs and read speeches lambasting government spending since President Obama took office.
The demonstrations are part of a larger grassroots movement against government spending called Taxed Enough Already, or TEA -- giving name to the Tax Day Tea Parties -- and come more than 235 years after the original Boston Tea Party revolt against taxes.
Crowds of up to 5,000 are expected in 300 cities in 50 states, including New York, Atlanta, Tulsa, Philadelphia, Boston, Hartford, and Indianapolis.
CNN is poo pooing it al by blaming FOX for highlighting it.
MSNBC is yeah but Bush spent money too and isn't Obama pretty.
Another reason why FOX dominates cable news....they report it.
Could you please find in CNN's article where they are

Jesus... She went in and attacked the people right off of the bat. What a ****ing joke. Obviously the man is not interested in a $400 tax credit. She would know that if she actually knew what she was talking about.Wow. Just wow. Objective journalism at its finest...

That's unfortunate. I expected better things.I went to see one of these rallies with my own eyes today. It was pretty much what you'd expect... Lots of hyperbole, cliches, and mindless slogan chanting... Not my cup of tea (hur hur)...

And what happens next, you ask?
Well, next, nothing will happen, is what.
Obama will continue to steal money and spend twice what he grabs, Congress will continue to be idiots, and the press will cheer on the Messiah.
In May, California will have a special election with 7 items on the ballot for the voters to decide. Those items are basically the spending that was compromised out of the state budget.
I expect the voters in California to enthusiastically pass these ridiculous measures and otherwise do the things they know they need to do if California is going to hurry up and go into bankruptcy as quickly as possible. Well, actually, they're stupid and they don't know that...the people that do know that will be voting "no", like me.
What a hostile bitch. He should have bitch slap her on the spot.
Good. I'm glad people are standing up for what they believe in.
Unless of course if they use their freedom of speech to burn the American flag, then you are against them right?
Why are you trying to throw the thread off topic?Unless of course if they use their freedom of speech to burn the American flag, then you are against them right?
Burning flags insults huge numbers of people, virtually entire nations. Regardless of what symbolism they assign to the flag burning, many if not most people will perceive it as attack against them personally. That's why you'll never see me burn a flag, even those of countries with regimes and policies I disagree with immensely.
Why are you trying to throw the thread off topic?
So you admit to being off topic purposefully?Because you like others are only for freedom of speech when you agree with that speech.
So you admit to being off topic purposefully?
There was something missing in all these tea parties.....
Signs that say "Thank you, Ron Paul".
Not at all. They can burn as many flags as they would like, it's not going to phase me.Unless of course if they use their freedom of speech to burn the American flag, then you are against them right?
What? Why would he run 3rd party? There was a better chance of him getting elected by running Republican.Yes, let's talk about Ron Paul. A man that agreed with changing America so greatly, he ran as a third party candidate to lead the way to change. Oh wait......he didn't.
He stayed with the Republicans.
Carry on.
