Any good books and/or movies on the subject you would recommend?

Watched the John Adams series the other night, liked it but unfortunately it's about John Adams..

Don't say Jefferson in Paris, watched (part of) it, worst 12 minutes of my life. I've looked into the literature but there's so many books on him and the declaration, apparantly every american writer thinks its necessary to write one. Which of the 48 biographies should I buy?

Well nothing but I would sooner make a miniseries about Jefferson or Franklin, considering their influence on the two famous documents.
