Damn I did not know that President Thomas Jefferson believed in the quran,
and Keith Ellison got sworn in with T.J's holy quran. Highlight the url that I posted, and yet you politicians is bitching about muslims using their own holy book to be sworn into office.

Umm, not to nit pick but...

Owning a book, and believing the scriptures of it, are not the same thing. An atheist owning a bible doesn't make them believe in Christian things. Your article even states that Jefferson was simply a collector of books of all languages and subjects.

Why try to spin a story if you're going to spin it that blatantly off

I own a Bible, too. Doesn't mean that I believe in it, or that I would be willing to swear any kind of oath on it.

I actually own the Book of Mormon as well...More so for the entertainment value than anything.

Ive read parts of the Bible and Quran. The bible is a peice of classic literature as well as a religious book many terms used in general conversation and literature derive from it even if not taught in a religious sense the bible shouldnt be overlooked for literature.
