Yep. There's been a lot of psychoanalyzing how such a large portion of this country has become party to this mass psychotic movement. It seems Trump and his followers have been feeding off each others' energy. "Flying monkeys" is actually a technical term in psychology used to refer to people who will support and propogate a narcissist's lies and gaslighting, for perceived personal gain (the term refers to the flying monkeys supporting the evil witch of the west in the Movie The Wizard of Oz).

Interesting anecdote.

I find the most dysfunctional people (at least those who care about politics) to overwhelmingly be highly ideological young liberals and low socioeconomic class MAGA hicks. The most successful people I know are mostly elitist liberals who actually live very conservative lifestyles, but politically present as being liberal, which honestly seems more like status signaling than anything else.

Junk science based on two unscientific surveys.

The findings reflect group averages, not individual characteristics, and not all conservatives or Trump supporters exhibit these traits.

What some anti-Trumps will convince themselves to believe. It's comical.
