This STD is becoming 'smarter' and harder to treat

https://www.cdc.gov/std/gonorrhea/arg/default.htm

[h=4]The emergence of multidrug- and cephalosporin-resistant gonorrhea in the United States would make gonorrhea much more difficult to treat.[/h]
Gonorrhea has progressively developed resistance to the antibiotic drugs prescribed to treat it.

Oral sex spreading unstoppable bacteria - BBC News

WHAT???

like "year of the shark" it's fake news. like bird flu, ebola, and every other "summer scare", this is one of those things designed to make you fear that which is not a thing.

Dry drowning, remember that one? one would think it was an epidemic.

so they found a couple scary cases of gonnereah then speculate "what if" while my chart shows that it's still near all time lows.

And this led to horny males without outlet having sex with animals which caused the problems in the first place.

Speculation and fear mongering. if "it is now much harder to treat, and in some cases impossible." you would be able to show me news stories of people with chronic afflictions cause by incurable gonorrhea.

Feel free to play Russian Roulette as much as you wish.

Interesting. Seems I brought this up before.

Only to be bashed by the "agenda."

Never argued it wasn't. Us being hit by a giant meteor is also science. My point is and was, this particular incident is overblown scare story. don't worry, the next time you get gonorrhea, anti-biotics will save you.

In the STD class I took in college lectured by a man and woman with doctoral degrees in laboratory science, oral sex was not looked upon favorably. In terms of STD's, and laboratory science, the conceptualization of prevention is more conservative than the general liberal public.

For one, like IV heroin addiction or lung cancer from smoking cigarettes, laboratory science reasons that the best preventative method is sexual abstinence. Just like the best way to prevent IV heroin addiction is to not become an IV drug user or the best way to avoid developing lung cancer from smoking tobacco products is to not smoke tobacco products.

That said... laboratory science wants is part of politics, so, it promotes liberal conceptions of lifestyle and encourages societal enabling by intervening with harm reduction programs (handing out latex condoms) and asking everyone to accept the other. Except IV drug addicts. Democrats have yet to accept those people, so, laboratory science and the Surgeon General has seen no reason to pressure churches and everyone to include them in their hug fest of acceptance. Even though by their own data they know the combination of behaviors of having male-on-male sex along with being an IV drug user is about the highest at risk group for STDs. (male-to-female transsexuals may or may not be higher in STD rates, but for political reasons there does not seem to a will and scientific curiosity to know the truth about that.)
