Would have been even scarier if they'd filmed parts of it in Waldorf, Maryland...at that time.
Back then Waldorf was largely populated by a lot of folks with bulging foreheads and eyes too close together.
Today it's a bustling megalopolis but back then, if you were on the outskirts at night, it felt truly creepy.
