meh...who cares?
OK american, sorry I went off on you. It was just so obvious to me and made me so freakin mad that I assumed everyone knew what it was, my mistake.eace
Would that include pissing on bodies of the dead?
That said she appears to be an AF staffer- not really 'military'...
tacky as hell for sure, but if it makes you want to vomit you should never fly in a jet, ride a roller coaster- hell stay away from the Merry-go-round.
There haven't been any significant numbers of American POW's for 40 years. Get over it. Move on.Who cares? That sort of sentiment shouldn't surprise me from a Liberal like you, but it does most certainly disgust me. Apparently you assume that our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Coastguardsmen and Marines should be allowed to turn the services into little more than frat party keggers where there is no expectation of discipline or military etiquette.
Interestingly...she is an E4 wearing a braided rope. If she is at Fairchild, then she is on the "Honor Guard". That makes you wonder a bit...I guess this pic has gone viral. It makes me want to vomit and this so called lady needs to be dishonorably discharged IMO.

I do.
Good for you. Push the top button up in the poll then.

It makes it a "who cares" non-event.So that makes it alright because there haven't been any significant numbers of American POWs?
Of fellow military personnel, yes. Of the sub-human enemies of this nation, no. BTW - My family's military service on this continent ranges from Afghanistan and Iraq all the way back to the day and age where taking scalps of the dead was considered appropriate military decorum, thank you very much. If she's wearing a uniform then I would expect her to live up to proper military discipline, regardless of the role she is in. I go out of my way not to do those sorts of things. I find no real pleasure in them and more often than not a massive amount of stress.
Sawyer, some people didn't recognize that from your pic. That is why I went to get the article and so did Maggie.
Edit: If you could, there should be another option listed though if you're serious about the poll. An option for non-judicial punishment (aka Article 15). I think she should be punished, but not kicked out.

Correct, however, in this case I could see non-judicial punishment being handed out.
It never was OUR military decorum to scalp our enemies- it is too bad the family members you claim to have that served recently didn't tell you 'the rest of the story' on what 'military' folks do. You have the 'never-served' our country's warped view of what we who did serve really do. Profane just doesn't cover it. the only question is getting caught or not. But keep your Cherry high and mighty standards- you of course never had to live up to them.
Go all the way back to the French-Indian War and you may find that Colonial decorum was very different than even what it was by the time of the American Revolution. Actually, the most recent one served for a relatively limited period of time (6 years I believe, as a combat medic in the 82nd Airborne) because he became disheartened by the ROE and other restrictions currently in place on US Military personnel. He now works for a private security firm and is currently assigned to a position in Baghdad, Iraq.
It makes it a "who cares" non-event.

I guess you don't understand the term "who cares?".So I guess you would visit Pearl Harbor and laugh.

I simply would not visit PH. Waste of time. When on Oahu, I head to the North Shore to watch surfers ride 30-foot waves, then take a flight to the better islands.
