This is why I think we should just leave Mexicans alone.

I've never really seen proof that they drive down the wages, as even when I was living in SC in areas where mexicans weren't preferred (not to be racist, but uneducated older black gentlemen instead) they still got paid what I guess people would consider bad wages. I don't really see it as bad wages though. If you are doing about 700-800 sticks per 4 people a day for 2 months straight, then paying $10/hr for the hanging, rotation, etc all the way up until December that is costing that farmer quite a bit. The farmers aren't living off this 150 acres either, they all work full time jobs, the way the system works you can make money but it isn't crazy amounts like people think they are.
you not seeing the proof dosen't mean it isn't happening (this has been happening for so long in this country that any study on this subject would be schewed at this point. imo.) and you totally ignored the fact that they and the businesses that hire them are breaking the law. i don't give two hoots how hard they work no one is above the law. are you advocating the breaking of our laws?

look i came here through legal channels back in 91 from Romania, when i came here i did not know a lick of english but i learned i studied and i got my papers and let me tell you it was a pain. The point here is not what jobs they do they know what they come here for b4 they come here, what a lot of americans dont understand about these poor mistreated mexicans is that they come here and work for 7 to 10 years send their money back to mexico then go back and retire to live the good life, i know because i know a few who did exactly that, but i digress how exactly is that fair to me and all the people who had to work for our opportunity to become legal citizens? at the end of the day they came here ILLEGALLY theyre criminals for what reason should we give them amnesty? because they do jobs no one else wants? (see above statement most live through a better retirement then most americans) b4 you yell amnesty for ILLEGALS why dont you go ahead and look up mexicos immigration policy or cubas/russia/anywhere in south america/saudi arabia and see what you find. In the end we have the worst immigration enforcement in the world and the least secure borders but all we seem to care about is the poor ILLEGALS, fine its not fair the work for $2.00 so send them back to their country so they can come here legally and work for 7.50

I know for a fact the wages of these people aren't being cut because this year they gave them a pay increase. Giving mexicans work legal or illegal isn't what is keeping America's average wage down, sending our jobs to China and letting places like Walmart flourish, and giving to much control the the unions is what is keeping them down.
