Probably one of the biggest thing voters need to think about in the Nov election concerns everyone. The thing is. should someone with clinical dementia have access to the nuclear codes?

We've been comfortable with them being in the hands for nearly four years by a man who sides with Russia, not the US. That should alarm anyone normally but the nuclear codes have always been safe, even in the hands of a lunatic. There's many reasons we haven't been afraid that Trump would 'nuke' NY for example. It's because the 'gold codes' change on a daily basis. They can't be written down, they must be committed to memory by the president. Okay, that's the best reason I have for not being afraid of Trump starting a nuclear WW3.

Just a note: Dementia is the last stage of Alzheimer's and is a symptom, not a disease. You can have dementia, which is caused by brain damage of a specific kind, not caused by disease, w/o having Alzheimer's.

If Trump has clinical dementia, that would mean at least He is being treated.

Notice how all the usual suspect try to deflect the subject of this thread Biden to Trump or anything else they can.

Any one can see how Biden is going down hill, so the question remains should he have the keys to the nuclear codes?

I hope trump is getting the best treatment available for his alzheimers

Ah, Al Franken...sacrificed on the alter of #metoo by his own party.

No, Al Franken just didn't find the fight worthy of the sweat off his ass.

Probably not but its happened 2X now first with Reagan now with Trump.

TBH, I don't like the "nuclear codes" argument, because the Left did exactly that to Trump. They also banged the "25th amendment" drum a whole lot:roll:
That said, there is little doubt that Biden has lost his fast ball. And his curve ball. And his slider. He would be propped up in his first and only term, much as Reagan was in his second term.
Of course, there would be immense pressure for Biden to step down and have Harris installed, so Biden and his team would have to be prepared to beat that back from the start.
He'd lose.

In the shape he is in, it should give everyone the willies thinking about Biden having the nuclear football.

But you can’t see that trump is going down hill and that is a problem

In a normal world ..no.

As many have stated, Biden will stumble along, carefully managed by his handlers. At some point he will step aside and have Kamala take over with the hard core radical agenda. The election should be considered Harris vs Trump. Policy vs policy. her's sucks.

Biden has had surgery for brain aneurysms.

At the time of Biden’s brush with death in 1988, his wife, Jill Biden, feared that he would never be the same. In a forthcoming autobiography, “Where the Light Enters," Jill recounts Joe's doctor telling the family that there was a significant chance he’d have permanent neurological damage, particularly after he suffered a second aneurysm, a condition in which an artery becomes weak and bulges out.

"Our doctor told us there was a 50-50 chance Joe wouldn't survive surgery," she wrote. "He also said that it was even more likely that Joe would have permanent brain damage if he survived. And if any part of his brain would be adversely affected, it would be the area that governed speech."

Initially, Joe Biden suffered an aneurysm that burst and required him to undergo emergency surgery. He was so close to death that a priest was preparing to administer the Catholic sacrament of last rites. A few months later, surgeons clipped a second aneurysm before it burst, after discovering it during a routine screening.

I believe it was:

Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.

Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.

Person. Woman. Man. . . . TV.

He memorized it for a softball interview to show awesome he was and still managed to forget one by the third repetition.
