This is borderline media malpractice

Journalist Tim Pool is floored by the level of dishonesty from the MSM the last few days. He quotes the headline from a Dennis Prager oped to sum up his view:

America is Drowning in the Left's Lies About Trump

Then - if that's your opinion, you should dig up reasons WHY this lying to tilt a political agenda. Start with Trump's outright lies and then you can go from there.

What if these white terrorist guys are paid Kamikaze?

Oh let me guess. That's like when a woman smiles at some dude in a store, and he starts stalking her because she signaled to him that she is in love with him.
Those signals. Who knew?

Rolling with the conspiracy is salacious, makes for ratings and fits the narrative that the audience is accustomed to. They all do it. The only difference I can see is that it is many channels anti Trump, only one pro.

If you choose to see only hatred and conspiracy in everything Trump says or does you will definitely find it but that's not because it's the truth, it's because you only see what you choose to see.

Democrats suffer from TDS and cannot see the forest for the trees as they say.

I have a granddaughter who was born 8-8-8 Heil Hitler, Honey?

Love your humor.

For how many years have you labored under the delusion that today's mainstream media is run by ethical journalists? Do you think Scott Pelley is such?

Yep, the 88 is not a coincidence.

Ive been using axios as a news source lately. They are as close to as being straight down the middle as i have found recently. They stick to facts and let people decide for themselves and they offer some context at the bottom of each article. The context part has some bias in it but the articles themselves are generally just objective facts.

Twitter piling on the victim.
Oh, the poor turtle is a "victim", he won't bring bi-partisan election protections to the floor....and he is pissing off his constituents.

Poor Moscow Mitch.....

Yeah, the "Eight-Eight" for August 8 being a nazi signal is a bit of a /facepalm "WTF???" speculation that certainly made me choke on my drink. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Trump, who is clearly not a brainiac, is being pushed by members of his staff into saying stupid stuff like that either through ignorance or manipulation.

But speculating about "secret signals" on tv from a guy with a strong Intelligence pedigree seems like shooting his own credibility in the foot to me. It's a head-shaker. (Truth in Advertising, I stopped watching after that stunningly stupid speculation, so if Williams managed to clean it up later, I missed it.)

I've been saying this for a while now and it has certainly caused some interesting discussions with a few of my liberal acquaintances. The media doesn't do its job, and their cry of an independent media or journalist is now just a joke. They are way to politicized.

I tell ya, Di, it's getting to be quite the chore to read the news these days. I find I need to read two "right wing" sources, two "left wing" sources, poke around to find the actual source documents, parse out all the speculation, hyperbole and wishful thinking and then take a nap to ponder it all. The nap, frankly, is the best part of all that.

Anyway, I have NEVER seen people so absurdly divided and never imagined that the so called "news" would serving to widen that gap. I mean, how screwed up is it that we can hardly get a consensus on "mass shootings are bad"? It's like if you agree with someone from the other side of the political aisle even on something as fundamental as that you're likely to be charged with picking a side in the political war.

It's damned sure not fun any more.

Next Up! Our crack analysts ask: Was Walt Disney a Satanist?

View attachment 67261387

There are three 6's, and Walt Disney's last and first names have 6 and 4 letters respectively...
6 - 4 = 2, and 6 ÷ 2 = 3...
3 thus emerges twice, and the reciprocal of 2 is 1/2...
Half-Life 3 confirmed!!

Yeah... MSNBC is basically the liberal version of Infowars these days.....

I doubt he's sharp enough to think of doing something like whatever this "Eight-Eight" is supposed to be.

I mean, he's obviously not as stupid as he sounds because people that daft would've squandered their fortune on rare cabbage patch kids dolls or trying to corner the silver market, or something like that. He's definitely a great conman. But his general reasoning skills, especially the ability to think ahead don't seem to be there.

Any competent journalist or journalistic organization not only should have, but would have, done just a little bit of checking:

Las Vegas: Oct 2 — Oct 6
Parkland: Feb 15 — Feb 19
Pittsburgh: Oct 27 — Oct 31
Dayton, El Paso: Aug 4 — Aug 8

Each of these half-staff mourning periods: 5 days.

That would be enough to nip the "88" idiocy in the bud, but apparently even the most minimal competence is beyond MSNBC.

Personally I think it went far past media malpractice a long time ago.. It has been going on prior to the 2016 election and continues to this day. There is a reason why polls show the overwhelming majority do not trust the media.

I think that's why we now refer to them as "the media" instead of "the news". It's barely recognizable as news any more.

It was also Hitler's second favouritest day of the week.

Block after block, sliding into place...

Adding another block... August once upon a time went by the name Sextilis!

Sextilis ("sixth") or mensis Sextilis was the Latin name for what was originally the sixth month in the Roman calendar, when March (Martius, "Mars' month") was the first of ten months in the year. After the calendar reform that produced a twelve-month year, Sextilis became the eighth month, but retained its name. It was renamed Augustus (August) in 8 BC in honor of the first Roman emperor, Augustus. Sextilis followed Quinctilis, which was renamed Julius (July) after Julius Caesar, and preceded September (from septem, "seven"), which was originally the seventh month.

Further media malpractice:

  • Stacey Abrams had the Georgia Governor election stolen from her - she lost by 50,000 votes
  • 'Hand Up! Don't shoot!' - 2 investigations later, one from Obama's DOJ, found this to be a lie, yet leftist activists, including Democrat primary presidential candidates and the media keep repeating it as if it were true

The list goes on, and in each case the media support these CTs from the left as it's the political narrative that is demanded, and have been mainstreamed into the Democrats and those further left (hard to imagine), accepted as truth.

If the news media were honest, were in fact speaking truth to power, they'd call the politicians and others in the media out on propagating CTs, but don't hold your breath.

Yes, #JournalismIsDead.
