Just by the headline alone anyone can tell this is from a right wing source attacking Pete with innuendo but no facts and no proof of their allegations. Surprising no?

On July 21, 2025, The New York Post published an article claiming that while Pete Buttigieg was secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the agency spent $80 billion on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) grants while delaying air traffic control (ATC) upgrades.

Sound familiar to you? Attack, attack, attack with zero proof and a whole bunch of speculation and downright misinformation. This has become the way of the right.

A New York Post article spreading the rumor did not provide a clear definition of what it considered a diversity, equity and inclusion initiative.

What the hell is a DEI grant from the transportation department? Is that to convert 5 lane highways into the more equitable 6 lane?
 
LOL,yeah, only the right wing ever does such things. Trump Russia Collusion, enough said. Democrats are certainly not guilty of telling the truth.
 
I will bet this is just another programming cycle using the Regime Media. What is happening now, may have been ongoing contractual authorization from the last administration. As for the upgrading of equipment, this doesn't happen overnight. Be patient and resist the brainwashing.
 
Can you say Russia, Russia, Russia? The Democrats are as guilty as Republicans for any extremes in what is revealed to the public.

You really can't help yourself, can you? You have NO other argument EVER other than whataboutism. It's sad to see because it indicates a complete lack of ability to debate a topic and being able to stay on topic.
 
 
If memory serves me correctly, in the 2012 campaign, Harry Reid falsely claimed Mitt Romney hadn’t paid his taxes and when later confronted about it said, “Romney didn’t win, did he?” And after a Democrat super PAC ran an ad scurrilously claiming Romney caused the death of a man’s wife, Obama’s aides and campaign staff claimed they knew nothing about the story or the ad and then it later emerged that deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter hosted a conference call which discussed that very same story and ad before it ran.
Democrats are first-class smear artists but third-rate liars.

The examples you provide involve political campaigns, where it is fairly typical, from both sides.

Here, it involves policy, tax dollars and public safety.
