right. and if that person eats meat at a festival once per year that's a big deal to you.

It doesn't say anywhere that they eat meat only once a year.It Basically says poorer Brokpa tribe members eat less meat than those who are not as poor do and eat a lot more meat during special occasions (rituals and festivals). Which seems to be the case in any country, poor people eat less meat than their more wealthier counterparts, but eat a lot more meat on special occasions. The premise of your OP article is disproved. That tribe has never been vegan for 5000 years.

I can't really fault him. The article is linked to a peta-tard website which is linked to a 2005 thehindubusinessline article.The PDF is from 2008.

The OP has a habit of being dishonest- he always posts articles of dubious merit, thinking that we would somehow automatically believe him. It's just another proof of the desperation that his ilk go to in trying to promote an unhealthy diet.
