This day in history

On October 4, 2001, a "Siberia" company airplane Tu-154M was shot down over the Black sea by Ukraine. 78 people were killed – all passengers and crew.

"Look at what is happening around the world, in Europe! We are not the first and not the last, it is not necessary to make a tragedy out of this," President Kuchma said

October 4, 1957 humanity entered the space age – the USSR launched the world's first artificial satellite into Earth orbit. The Russian word "Sputnik" has entered all languages of the world

This week in 1976, CIA-funded, anti-Castro terrorists, bombed the civilian airliner Cubana de Aviación Flight 455, killing all 73 people aboard, including all 24 members of 1975 Cuban national fencing team, many of whom were just teenagers.
The US harbored both Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch, refusing to extradite them for prosecution to Cuba and Venezuela.
Investigations undcovered that Posada and Bosch had hatched their plan during a meeting in Washington. Posada originally tried to defeat Castro by helping organize the failed Bay of Pigs invasion.
In July 1990, Bosch was pardoned of all US charges by George H. W. Bush at the request of his son Jeb Bush, (later Governor of Florida); this pardon was despite objections by the defense department that Bosch was one of the most deadly terrorists working "within the hemisphere."

American millionaire Armand Hammer (1898-1990) was a great friend of the Soviet Union. In particular, in the 20s, during the NEP (new economic policy), he built a pencil factory named after Sacco and Vanzetti. Armand Hammer entered the circle of businessmen close to the Soviet
leaders and personally meet Lenin. He became the first American to receive a concession in Soviet Russia — an asbestos Deposit near Alapaevsk.
On October 27, 1921, the people's Commissariat for foreign trade of the RSFSR and the Allied Drug and Chemical Corporation signed an agreement to supply 1 million bushels of American wheat to Soviet Russia in exchange for furs, black caviar, and jewelry expropriated by the Bolsheviks stored in Gokhran, but this is not the case.

Once, in the late 70s, he, already an old man, arrived in Moscow at about two o'clock in the morning. Hummer was given a car and was going to be taken to the hotel, but he suddenly demanded to take him to Red Square, where he wanted to visit the Lenin Mausoleum.
They began to explain to him that it was already three o'clock in the morning, the mausoleum was closed, maybe tomorrow morning?
Hammer pulled a yellowed photo of Lenin from his pocket
with the caption: "Comrade Hammer is allowed to see me at any time of the day or night. V. I. Ulyanov (Lenin) 20.XI.1921."

November 7, 1917, the great Russian Revolution took place, the Russian people were the first to throw off the yoke of oppression and strive for freedom and democracy. Together with the fraternal peoples, the russian people created a great power that remained an example of a truly popular state for others!

World-historical significance of October 1917:

Bringing "wild capitalism" on the planet in a less cannibalistic form-from 10-12 hours of work to 8 hours, etc.
Let's remember the blessed Russian Empire. Child labor and prostitution, general illiteracy. 45 years later, despite the terrible war, Gagarin took off to space.
What would be impossible without the total educational program of the country. Damn the Bolsheviks, they put everyone at school desks.

And the very fact that the bourgeoisie and the monarchies did not destroy the planet in the atomic wars - as they without a doubt used chemical weapons in the First World war, and in the Second world war, the capitalists also undoubtedly used atomic weapons against each other. And without the USSR, there would have been a world war with mass use of WMD.

Today marks the 203rd anniversary of Karl Marx's birth.
Marx is the answer to the questions " why do crises occur?" and" where does the rich get wealth, and the poor get poverty? "
Marx is a brand on the forehead of Capital.
Marx is the red banner over the Reichstag.
