Thirteen of 15-member U.N. Security Council oppose U.S. push for Iran sanctions

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The United States was further isolated on Friday over its bid to reimpose international sanctions on Iran with 13 countries on the 15-member U.N. Security Council expressing their opposition, arguing that Washington’s move is void given it is using a process agreed under a nuclear deal that it quit two years ago.

So, Donald Trump, AKA Conman Don, didn't like t he agreement. Did he negotiate a new agreement? No, he just unilaterally pulled out. Did he get the support of the other signatories? Why, no, only his opinion counted. Now, he wants to re impose sanctions, again unilaterally. What we need is a president who works with other nations and doesn't just go off and do his own thing.

He's completely ineffective. And not just in foreign relations - look at the economy, pandemic, and civil strife & unrest.

It’s important to understand why these nations are hesitant to re-impose sanctions. Almost without exceptions its about self interest and energy products such as crud oil or a strategic ME location as with Russia and China. It’s easily debated why Iran should be suffering the weight of the harshest sanctions from the UN.

We should always keep in mind that Iran is the worlds biggest state sponsor of terrorism ether directly or thru proxies. Its radical Theocracy Government that has twisted Islamic beliefs for power and hates sake is impossible to come to any real sustainable honest agreement with.

You’re making other implications with the economy, and civil strife, curious, would you like to debate the health of the economy pre-covid-19? As for the civil unrest, please explain to me how this unrest can be blamed on this administration?

The UN sluts defend Iran but get pissy when Israel attempts to defend itself.

Yes. He mishandled pandemic response, even before it was a pandemic, causing extended lockdown, crashed economy, and kids unable to attend school. Consequently, there's been a sharp rise in unrest & social ills.
