First, Cumulus Media announced they were planning on dropping his radio show, and now Fox News is moving Sean Hannity out of his plum 9 PM time slot after Bill O’Reilly.

Drudge
is reporting that, “FOXNEWS is set to make its first primetime schedule change in 10 years, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. Superstar newswoman Megyn Kelly has landed the 9 PM slot, top sources reveal. The shock announcement is set for later this month. ‘It’s all about Megyn,’ an insider explains. ‘She is the new face of cable news. She has it all!’”
Fox News execs believe that Kelly will inherit the mantle of top rated host from Bill O’Reilly once he retires. The news that Kelly was moving to primetime originally had everyone focused on Greta Van Susteren’s poor performing, by Fox News standards, 10 PM show. Nobody expected Hannity to get the boot from nine, but looking back, we all should have seen this coming.
Hannity suffered a 35% ratings drop earlier in the year, and he got very defensive about the subject in a recent interview with Playboy:

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I love how Hannity, Limbaugh and Palin all live rent free in the minds of so many liberals.

You mean people actually tune in to Hannity? Are there really people out there who are that intellectually lazy?

yes Hannity numbers have slipped and so has every one elses but even with the slip he is the second highest rated show on cable news just behind ORielly so he isn't going anywhere he will move to 10pm and he will become the 3rd highest rated just behind Kelly

Just look at these numbers.

Fox news dominates ever time slot period others don't even come close even if you double their numbers they would still lose. even the ORielly rerun at 11 pm beats other channels prime time ratings. it hurts doesn't it

The source is not credible, it's nothing but speculations and guessing what Fox News prime time lineup will be next month.
When Fox New Channel makes its announcement, it will be Fox News who makes the announcement and Mediabistro/TVNEWSER will put it on the web and the Drudgereport will be the source for the liberal media and other liberal websites who spend more time speculating than reporting facts.

As for Hannity's ratings, he's still beats everyone else in the 9:00 PM time slot. -> The Scoreboard: Wednesday, August 7 - TVNewser

So baically this thread isn't breaking news just more left wing gossip.

You beat me by one minute with the ratings.

2nd highest rated news show on cable news you would have to triple his competitions ratings to even for them to come close

I guess the advertisers have finally concluded that the weirdo knownothings who watch Hannity have run out of money buying gold and survivalist literature.

Because I know he exists and he's a dick, he lives here rent-free? Interesting concept. Never heard that one before.

no, of course not... nobody tunes in to Hannity.... that's why hes so high in the ratings... derp derp..

Yeah, 35% drop in the ratings, and they gave his spot to someone else, because he's high, or some such.

Buy gold!

I guess the audience did, lost their shirts, and now the advertisers need to move on to the next scam.

He can't be all that great, or they wouldn't have bumped him.

He is a hate monger, look forward to the day when he can't spew his venom. Hopefully Limbaugh and O'eilly are also circling the drain.

one can't be a Progressive without wishing their political opposition would disappear... that the tie that binds progressives together

I bought all of my Krugerrands when gold was going for $300 to $400 per ounce.

But it wasn't an investment, just an insurance security policy like owning guns.
Those who depend on dialing 911 or the government wouldn't understand.

That he is, but having read the RWNJ rhetoric, I shall add that YOU are the problem for saying there's a problem. >.>

A Hannity audience member if I ever saw one!

Maybe the tea party audience is losing interest since the US hasn't collapsed as fast as he predicted.

I think the problem is Viagra only works up to a certain age and the Hannity demographic has now surpassed it.

is he on TV still getting millions of viewers?... if so, stifle the " he's such a failure" nonsense.

personally, i can't stand hum .. or any other talking head of any political persuasion ... but i'm not gonna sit here and pretend he's a failure or is failing... that absolute absurdity.

Indeed, keep moving there's nothing to see here. (other than piles of dead bodies in your closet) I will wear that troublemaker badge with honor.

Again I burst the head of joaquin's bubble.

I rarely watch Hannity. In fact I haven't watched him once this year.

I watch O'Reilly, and sometimes Gretta. If I'm around a television during the daytime, Megan Kelly and The Five are a must. Cavuto if I'm not watching the local news or if there's not a car chase going on.

Yeah, that's better: watching O'Reilly. The other knownothing.
