Things Get Even Worse for Sean Hannity As Fox News Drops Him From 9 PM

You mean people actually tune in to Hannity? Are there really people out there who are that intellectually lazy?

Hehe, dude seriously? Did you really just say that with a straight face? ;)

Tim-

No idea here what Hannity's future plans are, but my bet is that it won't be to become somebody else's "second banana." I don't generally listen to or watch his programs. But I have never gotten the sense that he's insincere or a liar, and if he says that he's very happy about his looming future, I accept this at face-value.

I haven't watched Hannity in years, but I do watch O'Reilly and even DVR the show. I like Gretta, and frankly she's probably one of the best commentators on TV ATM that no one outside of Fox watchers know about. She's fair and on point, and she has a diverse ideological guest lineup on pretty much any issue. She reminds me a lot of Tim Russert, just female. Russert mostly leaned left but he was a fair journalist and treated all of his guests with respect. Hannity always seemed too rah rah for me, and although his reportage was mostly accurate, he did seem to gloss over legitimate GOP criticism, and that rubs me the wrong way.

Ah, Sunday mornings used to be never-miss because of Russert.

re so-called 'ratings," you don't really believe there's an age bracket 25 to 54 years old, do you? Or 35-64? I mean that you can claim is accurate? And how many of them are in their twenties, do you reckon? And they watch Fox And Friends? In the hundreds of thousands? Don't make me laugh.

I pay attention to Hannity I as much as I pay attention to dog poop (although they maybe also intellectually equivalent, I pay them no never mind), but back in the late 90's I did watch Limbaugh. At first I did find it interesting and fresh, but soon I realized how one song pony show Limbaugh really is, specially when I saw an interview with him, I guess back then they were not smart enough to avoid open interviews without prearranged questions and no followup rules.

The man was incapable of even one coherent thought or basic critical thinking skills, a true picture of brainless mouthpiece....and that was pretty much it for me, when it came to conservative talkshows.

Given that there are still follower of Hannity and Limbaugh, I guess there is a lag in evolution for some..

On this, we can agree.
Rush has been stuck in the same boring liberal media meme for decades.
Even when he landed his dream job as a football analyst, Rush couldn't stop with his liberal media bias schtick.
His inability to vary his commentary cost him that job.

All of you who think that Sean Hannity dead in the water you are all wet behind the ears.
Roger A. gave an interview on Cavuto. He stated all the stars of Fox Cable will be returning.
I personally think Hannity will take the 10:00 slot and Greta will be taking the 7:00 slot currently filled by Shepard Smith's second hour of the day. Why do I think that? Roger A. stated they had been working with Shepard on different ways to present the news. And Greta's husband was reported stating Greta would be more than happy to take an earlier slot.
I like Greta for the way she goes to the politicians and asks some really tough questions. Having a woman anchor on earlier in the evening prior to Bill O. (which personally I can't stand) would be a good thing and then Megan Kelly taking the 9:00 slot makes really good sense. Hannity has changed his format as of late. He often has a participating audience with opinions from all political spectrums. They have been interesting the few I have caught. My favorite show on Fox is John Stossel on the weekends. Love that show.

What makes you think I am rich?
What makes you think I am a guy?
What makes you think Hannity is a race-baiter? Did someone tell you that was so?

Let me present to you a most recent video of a forum held on Hannity's show with nothing but conservative Blacks in the audience. I recommend you and all watch the videos and find out what it is like for a Black Conservative in this country. You discover first hand how these folks are treated by the left side of the aisle. They are demeaning and indignant toward them and one quickly learns who the true race baiters are in this country.

Black Conservatives in Explosive Hannity Townhall:

The left thinks it OWNS the Black vote and when someone steps off the reservation, there's hell to pay.

Nobody's freedom if speech is being violated.

So you call yourself a progressive? Yet you are open to stopping free speech (wishing for the day "he can't spew.)"

What do we call a socialist progressive that wants to inhibit free speech? What other socialist progressive, in history, denied people their freedom of speech? We called that person a fascist. I think its rather accurate.

I never like his voice. The way he talks has always gotten on my nerves.

Yeah, that's better: watching O'Reilly. The other knownothing.

while OReilly is just as ignorant, he isn't nearly as disgusting as Hannity.

I actually get a big kick out of watching O'Reilly trying to backtrack on the things that he suggests from time to time.

A few years ago there was a battle between O'Reilly and Beck between which would could recommend the larger and more harmful tax scheme. I think that Beck won when he suggested that we should have a VAT tax instead of O'Reilly's consumption tax (both were suggesting this as a new tax, in addition to all the other taxes that we already have) because the VAT would extort more taxes from businesses and consumers than the consumption tax would.

And just a few months ago O'Reilly suggested that minimum wage should be $16/hr (he thought that it was currently $12/hr).

Apparently, even conservative talking heads are liberals when they say what they really think.

Nope anything else you want to label me to try and discredit me and my comment or is that typical liberal play run its course?

I was teasing you. I have no need to discredit you or label you. Take another look at our correspondence, I don't think I am the one labeling or bullying for that matter.
