The current GOP Congressperson is trying to conflate the "cancel culture" with Trump's actions.

Republicans are trying to use claims of America's and Trump's supposed greatness as arguments against holding Trump responsible. The party of irresponsibility.

Again, it reminds me of the movie "Hook", with Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams, where in the end, a defeated Captain Hook pleads with Pan for his dignity and crows about "Good form!" right up till he grabs a dagger and tries to sucker Pan with a jab to the neck.

The country is in shambles. It is bleeding. It is in serious decline. People are angry.
Why make it worse?

The TOXIC Democrats are making it worse. They are harming this nation. They don't keep pretending that they are doing something good for the country, they don't keep dividing pretending that they are uniting, they don't keep pouring salt on the wounds of the country by another grandstanding, shit show POLITICAL impeachment of an outgoing president already defeated by the electorate. They need to tone down the rhetoric, but too late for that...

Progressives are working to make the country and the world better. Most Democratic Congresspersons are NOT politically progressive. Most Democratic Congresspersons are politically conservative.

People have been angry. They've been angry watching Trump lie for 4 years. They've been angry watching him tarnish the role of the office as well as our country. And they've especially been angry watching him ramble on about some stolen election. So where were you guys then? Where were the republicans that chanted right along with Trump there was fraud? Did it really take 60+ lawsuits for the light bulb to come on?

So no, to start trying to lay blame to the people who are not going to just overlook his BS is beyond whacked. It falls squarely on the shoulders of Donald J Trump.
