I wonder what putin has against Mitch?Gotta be a reason for lifting the sanctions against Russia.:2wave:

<There always seems to be more to the story when it comes to Trump and Russia, and this time it involves Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.>

<Earlier today, we heard that the U.S. lifted some Russian sanctions. The official announcement came on Sunday by Trump appointed U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who was Trump’s former presidential campaign finance chairman. Mnuchin lifted sanctions on three Russian companies tied to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, who is a close ally of Vladimir Putin. Deripaska was also a business partner with Paul Manafort, who was Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign chairman. Manafort was convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion tied to Russia and also pleaded guilty to conspiracy.>

<Right now, the point being made is that Mitch McConnell is benefiting from his direct and indirect ties to Putin and Russian oligarchs, which most likely guided McConnell’s recent vote to lift Russian sanctions. And it would seem he clearly voted in the interest of himself, his king and his Russian ties, when he should have been working for the best interest and welfare of the American people. Pfft! The senate seat is just a stepping stone.>

<The real question is, why would McConnell and Trump do something so stupid as to lift Russian sanctions just as Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s collusion investigation is beginning to blow wide open? They are under a microscope. Why pick now?>

<One thing we do know is—Trump lives to benefit Trump. McConnell? He was doing that before Trump came into the arena. McConnell just did it in a more reserved, evil and insidious manner. But they both come from the same hole in the ground. They both have hurt and damaged masses of people overtly and covertly. And they both will be on the same ship that goes down. And it’s going down.>

The Democratic Party's warmongering never, ever ends. Now against Russia. Against someone, somewhere. Always. Since the Democratic Party has come into existence, probably 90+% of American war casualties have been under Democratic Presidents.

The ranting of "Russia! Russia! Russia!" is most Democrats being the chanters for war and hate as has always been the Democratic Party, which is defined by hatred, racism and bigotries from the very start with Andrew Jackson - and it has never changed.

The whole Republican party is dirty and loaded with traitors. It needs to be shoved into the ash heap of history.

This article is nothing more than a mass of spin, speculation, innuendo and hyperbole. Hell, you can't even call it breaking news. There is no news in that screed. Heck, there aren't even any named sources. It's nothing but a conspiracy theory.

But I'll agree with you that most of the nonsense we get from the Mainstream Media belongs in the CT forum, as well. It's the same conspiracy nonsense.

Oh...and dailykos is no better than alternet.

Edit: Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican POTUS; War Between the States claimed over 600K deaths, so I call BS

LOL. I guess since you couldn't prove Trump colluded with Russia now you've got to say that McConnell colluded with Russia. CT forum is further down.

Nice try to rewrite history. It was Democrats of the Confederacy that started the Civil War by attacking a federal military base.
