Trump's very fine people statement was directed at the group that simply wanted to keep the statue where is was. They weren't racists. I saw their webpage, no secret codes, no nazi flags. They simply wanted the statue to remain where it was. THOSE were the fine people on the other side. Not those idiot Nazis.
Do a little research. The MSM has been lying about Trump for a long time. WHY?

The Antifa group should be checked into, So lets do that , In 2018 50 people were killed in hate crimes in the US ,Look at that none by Antifa, why none , that's simple, all 50 were killed by right wing hate groups like you and your party and Your Nazi and KKK brothers.

considered by most the dregs of society & fine people who received permits to demonstrate against the removal of monuments
memorializing Lee & Jackson the 'essence of fearless Christian Warriors who with limited sources to command led outnumbered men
to victories that continue to be studied by students of the military arts even up to this day. It's the third group Trump was
talking about.

I graduated from W & M in the late 60's and Lee/Jackson day was besides for Christmas & Thanksgiving the most celebrated
holiday of the year. These people like 2/3 of the population of this country wants these memorials protected where they stand
& by the way more than 50% of blacks feel the same way. Funny thing the troublemakers on both sides didn't accomplish what they set
out to do. The portion of fine people that Trump alluded to apparently have prevailed as the statues of jackson & Lee still stand
where they were.

Those southern generals memorialized by monuments in western Virginia have a following of millions & most are very fine people.

Love it , these poor pups can't even support the pig leader , and they think I care what they think of me , why would anyone care what the enemy's of their country thinks of them ,just can't understand that. Doesn't it seem that it's a compliment when people who sold out their country and it's constitution and flag speak of their opponents negatively and hatefully.
