Russia is phased with many problems due to the war they have gotten themselves into. They have lack of materials, lack of skilled labour, and all that of course goes to lack of war materials, and not enough funding to finance the war in Ukraine. However the war must still go on, because The Kremlin is not allowed to lose, not matter how little sense it makes. And now they somehow have to magically get the money to finance the new conscripted army. They will probably get around this by not paying military salaries (there has already been reports of contract soldiers not being paid). But even with not paying soldiers, the money to equip and feed this large army simply does not exist.
 
Why pay soldiers that will soon be dead?
