Actually IMO the "hypocrisy" is in the selective acceptance that "White Power" is automatically "racist" while any other social group using their own "Identifier-" with "-Power" is not.

Context is everything, and a review of that tape shows the comment was a reaction to hate-speech directed at the individual who made the response. In viewing it, I did not see a "KKK" response, but the natural response of someone claiming their own power in the face of such abuse.

Strangely this reminds me of back in the bad old days of real White racism, where when KKK and other actual White Supremacists would chant White power and in reaction Black Americans responded with "Black Power." Only this time in reverse.

IMO this is all promulgated by the increasing divisiveness occurring in American culture as a direct result of grievance politics.
