Always the false equivalence, claiming because CNN has some bias, it's therefore "as bad as " Fox. That's absurd.
Anyone can watch Hannity and Tucker and see the pure insanity that passes for programming on a news network. It's pure partisan propaganda, literally coordinated with the Republican party as we saw out in the open during the Trump presidency.
CNN/MSNBC are certainly biased towards reality and Democrats, but they don't push near the propaganda and lies that Fox pushes...it's not extremist in the last.
CNN is worse than FoxNews. They aren't equivalent. CNN is way worse. You won't see anything close to the shit CNN pulls on FoxNews. CNN lied so bad with the Covington Catholic kids they SETTLED (they didn't lose, they voluntarily agreed to pay so they wouldn't risk an even bigger kick in the nuts at trial) they SETTLED for $275,000,000 for their lies.
CNN retracted a story in June of 2017 claiming that former Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci was under investigation by Congress for his alleged ties to Russia. The story relied on one anonymous congressional source and CNN eventually confirmed the botched report and two CNN reporters had to resign in disgrace.
CNN reported in December 2017 that Trump Jr. received special access to documents stolen by WikiLeaks on Sept. 4, 2016. However, Donald Trump Jr. actually was emailed about the documents on Sept. 14, 2016 — a day after they were already available to the general public. CNN never explained how their "two anonymous sources" both gave them the wrong date.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said during a congressional hearing in May that three intelligence agencies — the CIA, NSA and the FBI — concluded that Russia interfered with the 2016 election. CNN has repeatedly claimed that all 17 intelligence agencies came to the same conclusion about Russian meddling. CNN’s claim is pure nonsense, as nothing of the kind was ever the case. Yet, Democrats still parrot that nonsense.
On June 6, 2017, CNN reported that former FBI director James Comey would contradict President Donald Trump’s claim that he was not under investigation. When the time came for Comey to release his opening statement for his congressional testimony, he actually ended up confirming Trump’s account.
When President Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, they had a fish feeding ceremony. A video posted by CNN o showed Trump dumping his entire box of food into the koi pond unprompted, which was portrayed as a horrible insult. However, the full video shows Trump followed Abe's lead and did exactly as Abe did.
In May of 2017 when Republicans were authoring a new health care bill, CNN claimed that GOP changes to Obamacare could make rape and sexual assault pre-existing conditions. That was not true, as nothing in the changes effected the definition of preexisting conditions.
CNN ridiculously said in October of 2016 that possessing WikiLeaks stolen documents is “illegal,” but insisted it’s “different for the media.” “Also interesting is, remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents. It’s different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you’re learning from us,” CNN reported. They basically argued that it'd be illegal to possess the Pentagon Papers, but it's not illegal for the press to possess and report on the Pentagon Papers. Lying idiots.
CNN originally denounced Trump’s claim in March of 2017 that former President Barack Obama was wiretapping phones in Trump Tower as a "flat out lie." But as we all know, it was since admitted by the FBI that the FBI was wiretapping and listening in on Trump Tower phones.
CNN reporter Jim Sciutto was just one network talking-head who claimed the Steele dossier was “initially paid for by Republicans.” However, that wasn't true - that was a lie. And, who did pay for it? The Democrats.
CNN claimed that only Democratic members of Congress gathered to pray before the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game — the first game after House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot and nearly killed. Photos and video evidence showed both teams, Republicans and Democrats both, coming together for the pre-game prayer. CNN lied again.
