In the summer of 2010, with Republicans poised to take over the House and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) in line to lead the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the White House started urging reporters to write negative stories about the congressman’s past...

The White House pushed dirt on Darrell Issa, book says
Not surprising in the least, but it sets up a good line about these lap dawgs.

These journ-O-lists may not be capable of licking their own private parts, but when it comes to Obama, they're willing to to anything.

If anyone wants to start feeling sorry for Darrell Issa, get after it, I'll pass.

yup, it is part of politics in all areas. Especially today when we have no real journalism in the main stream and it is all talking heads who have been issued their stories by the party they endorse. The only thing I find amazing is some people take such offense over what one side does while the other side is doing the exact same thing. If both sides are doing it then it is a wash on complaining about a specific side and you should be complaining about the entire process, but we all know that is not going to happen with the sycophants.

I'm from California.

Issa's past is old news.

But that pots got a lot of nerve calling any kettle black.

Hmmph......pols trying to paint their opponents in a negative light?
No politicians have ever stooped so low!!
Unprecedented, appalling, disgusting !!
As for your "good line".....it needs work.
Maybe a reference to Obama's private parts would more accurately convey your message?
Good luck.

ROTFLOL... You think Bush or Nixon, or Reagan had the power to get the press to run targeted stories? Goebbels did... and it seems Obama has that sway as well with his journ-O-lists.

Obama and his party have enjoyed having propagandists that bury stories, twist stories, try to swing presidential elections with false stories... and now we find targeting is OK too... and their beat goes on.

Obama must think it's a wonderful thing to have a bunch of ball lickers at his behest.

The price... mass ignorance. It's how people like Obama get elected.

Godwin on page 1, not bad!

Reagan had influence on the media, like any president does. So Reagan = Hitler! I love this game.

Imagine that! Politicians spreading dirt about their political opponents. Who would have thought?

Yes.

Godwin's Law doesn't apply if the shoe fits

Nice try though
