The Weekly Standard is Dead

How should they do that?
By being more tolerant of moderate conservative principles. Connor Lamb ran on a few conservative principles, and picked-up a GOP Pennsy CD - twice! As a Dem!

Well you could always join the Unity Party.

Biden Should Run on a Unity Ticket With Romney

Damn Cardinal, that's a kick-ass article. Really kick-ass!

It might be the best article of it's type, I've seen. Most other 3rd party advocate articles are idealistic dream pieces, whereas this one offers numbers and a specific ticket. I'd likely vote for a 3rd party Biden-Moderate GOP ticket in 2020. I think Biden-Romney could quite possible be a winner. And let's not easily dismiss this. Trump was dismissed, but look what occurred.

In essence, there is a perfect confluence of events occurring in 2020 that makes a ticket like this have little downside for Dems, Liberals and Progressives. Unless Trump were to get 270 outright in the EC, which I find unlikely in a three-way Dem/Biden-Romney (Unity)/Trump contest, the vote defaults to the Dem House.

Anyway, thanks buddy for bringing this to my attention. I might give it it's own thread, if I find the time.

Oh, one last thing: Did you notice the use of the phrase, "principled conservatives", in the article? That's my line! I bet I've used it dozens of times, here. What a wild coincidence. It immediately caught my attention, early in.
