For me, I hope that this supply drys up, Europe and especially the UK has shuttered their production plants and rigs due to climate change pressures. As typical with the Brits, they turn a blind eye as long as the ugly truth isn’t happening in their back garden but have absolutely no issue importing the ugliness.

I have always been curious about this on a climate change concern, Until the technology with renewables becomes more sustainable why do these countries think that Russia and the Middle East can do this cleaner and more carbon friendly than they can?

The short answer is they can’t, they care less what damage they do to the planet in order to supply London and Berlin with cheap fuels.

LNG is just a waste product from oil exploration. It'll come from the same source, Russia. Thankfully it is a little cleaner than Oil, and will hopefully be used as needed, but it doesn't break the embrace that Europe has with Russia.
