Russia and Ukraine, in April, were on the verge of a peace agreement. That was back in April, when the two sides were meeting and talking in Istanbul. As matters developed, the US sent its poodle Bojo to Kiev to order its lackey Elensky to fight to the last Ukrainian. No peace.

A peace-for-neutrality agreement was proposed by Ukraine in a draft document that it delivered to Russia during the March 29 talks in Istanbul, Turkey. The Russian military announced its withdrawal from some parts of Ukraine as a gesture of good will, right after the offer was made.

In May, some Ukrainian media linked the collapse of the negotiations with pressure imposed on Kiev by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The UK leader publicly opposed a negotiated solution to the crisis in Ukraine and urged Kiev to fight on to obtain a stronger position in future talks.

Johnson visited Kiev on April 9, reportedly almost without warning and with a message for Zelensky that he could not get the deal he wanted from Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. He branded Putin a war criminal who could not be trusted and said that “even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they [the West] are not.” Security guarantees for a neutral Ukraine from major world powers were the cornerstone of the proposed peace deal.

Democrats, Deep State and RINOS joined forces in a chorus for war against Russia

WTF are you babbling about now?

You left out the part where Putin lied about his army massing on the border for war games, then promptly invaded a sovereign Ukraine.

Russia can keep biting those British and American bullets, we got lots of them to send to Ukraines freedom fighters. True it's a bi partisan issue. The result a united NATO..

No negotiations until Putin pulls his second rate military back over its own border. Ukraine has made this clear.

Biden was running around there with Victoria Nuland and John McCain handing out candy and bread to the right-wing extremists who were responsible for the violence. These had for many years been brought up and brainwashed mainly by the care of the United States. Famous Nazis from the Hitler era were seen as role models.

Victoria Nuland, the USA's representative for Europe, said in connection with the Ukraine coup that since 1991 Washington had spent USD 5 billion in Ukraine on ”democracy-promoting measures.

It is truly pitiful that the Ukrainian soldiers do not realize that they are not fighting for their motherland. They are fighting for Uncle Sam who wants to retain power over Ukraine. It was on February 24, 2014 when Ukraine lost its independence and became an American vassal state

The US is the only country that is profiting from this European war

The Russians call it a special military operation. Government buildings remain intact in Kiev. In spite of hostilities, natural gas is still flowing from Russia to the rest of Europe and Ukraine, even as Ukrainian soldiers and European arms are aiming to destroy Russian forces.

What has happened to Ukraine is very unfortunate for its people, as well as the people in the Donbass, who have fought for their independence since 2014. But prolonging the war, creating conditions for the mass death of Ukrainian men, the mass scattering of Ukrainian women and children throughout the world, and completely destroying Ukraine’s economy has nothing to do with helping the country.

@basionok - going to use simple language and cut right to the chase. You and Evil Scum Putin miscalculated. Invading Ukraine has not gone remotely close to plan.

The Russian soldiers lack resolve and continue to run away from battle The Ukraine soldiers continue to dominate the Russian soldiers.

In spite of your delusions and your support of Evil Scum Putin, rest assured, for every one member in this forum who sides with Evil Scum Putin, at least twenty-five of us side with Ukraine sovereignty!

Viva the Ukraine people! Just a matter of time, down goes Evil Scum Putin! Bank on it!

Victoria Nuland handed out chocolate chip cookies on the Euromaidan. In what universe is this a crime?

Viktor Yanukovych was responsible for the violence. His Berkut security forces shot 100 Ukrainians to death on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti.

If that were truly the case, there would be no need for the globalist elites to ban it. In any war, it's always wise to hear both sides of the story.
Globalists in triple parenthesis?

Pravda is controled by the Communist Party of Russia.

Pravda.ru - what you use as a source - is a different animal altogether.....

The organization has been accused of supporting the Russian government's position on various subjects both within and outside the country and also of producing neo-Soviet, Russian nationalist news and outright conspiracy theories. According to former State Duma deputy Boris Nadezhdin, Pravda.Ru is “a pro-Kremlin site that has been coming down on the opposition all the time”; according to Vladimir Pribylovsky, the site is maintained by the Department of Internal Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.[26]

Ergo... a tool of the Putin regime.

Pravda.ru has been known to produce tabloid style articles with outrageous claims in the headline, such as

  • “Aliens forced Americans out from the Moon”,[18]
  • "Time machine built in Europe, Russian scientists say",[19]
  • “Time can be turned back”,[20]
  • “Alien and human skulls found on Mars”,[21]
  • "Nuclear strike hits Yemen",[22]
  • “Boriska, boy from Mars, says that all humans live eternally”,[23]
  • "Autotrophs: new kind of humans appears who neither drink nor eat"[24]
  • “Nazi Germany achieved its technological advantage with aliens’ help”.[25]

NATO's delusion that Ukraine can win the war by providing a limitless supply of weapons and sanctions that would weaken Russia by hurting Moscow more than Europe has proven to be a fantasy. The mistake that somehow the world would also line up in support of EU-NATO's proxy war has been totally miscalculated.

The pretext that the Ukraine war is intended to "protect democracy” and repel "foreign aggression” and "autocracy” has been a strategic lie for years. The NATO alliance has used a similar ploy on numerous occasions by sending troops to:

  • Bosnia in 1991,
  • Kosovo in 1999,
  • Afghanistan in 2001,
  • Libya in 2011,
  • Iraq in 2004,
  • Somalia in 2009.
The killing fields of duplicity endure to this very day!

….

Cry more. Lie less.

Evil Putin made a fateful decision to violate Ukraine sovereignty. Now he can find some angle to bring his demoralized troops home and not admit defeat.

Pompeo advocates that the U.S. provide Ukraine with “conventional weapons of decisive lethality,” and mentions tanks and fighter aircraft. He also writes that we and our allies should declare that “actions to liberate parts of Ukraine, held by Russia under the charade of false referendums, do not constitute an attack on Russia,” as if that declaration will somehow prevent Russia’s leaders from viewing them that way.

If we follow Pompeo’s advice, historians (if there are any still around) may one day remark that it was some damned foolish thing in Ukraine that started the greatest global war in history.

Assuming you believe that the will of the people matters, we should, in any given conflict region, support the will of those who live there.

Most of Ukraine unequivocally wants to be part of Ukraine, but some eastern portions have Russian majorities and prefer Russia.

Obviously the Biden Administration, a majority of Congress, a majority of Ukrainians, a majority of the governments of the World and the majority of DP members who weigh in (via posts) on the Ukrainian Conflict disagree with Elon’s point of view.
