Postal Service Mulls Downsizing: Senator and Union Leader | Time

This is going to be one ugly election.

If there’s a coherent thought going through Trump’s head, it might be that Democrats are mostly using mail-in votes, which creates an impression on Election Day that Trump is winning at first. Then, when the mail-in ballots are slowly counted and the initial results start turning against him, he’ll claim the election was rigged.

And of course, adding more dysfunction to the USPS makes the counting of the mail-in ballots that much more delayed and dysfunctional.

There’s really no part of elections anymore that isn’t defined by Republican cheating.

Any changes to USPS operations should be shelved until after the November election.

But we know that Trump will do everything he can to suppress mail-in voting.

Successfully defined by the results.

Cute and completely ass backwards.

Cheating is the lifeblood of liberals in every aspect of their lowly lives.

Republicans are paranoid about cheating because they’re doing all the cheating.

I don't think you're paying attention to what Trump and his fascist supporters and political allies are trying to do.

Trump, Trump's political allies, and Trump supporters will do everything they can to cheat.

They are now openly discussing delaying the election.

This is going to be a very tough election.

Trump critics will have to fight like hell.

Conservatives are against businesses and services being operated by the government and believe these should be provided in a capitalist free market which includes the delivery of parcels by UPS, FedEx, and other courier delivery services which they believe should also be delivering letters. Republicans must wonder why the U.S. Post Office continues to be operated by the government and must believe it is time to close its doors. It smacks of socialism.

The USPS has been under attack/siege since Bill Clinton's administration. Bush followed suit.

Signs of fascism.

We are all too familiar with the shenanigans democrats play when they physically recount votes and there is an autentication question about accepting millions of mail in ballots. People have legitimate cause to be wary about the validity of mail in votes accuracy.

Have to suppress that vote. It's the Republican way.

The probably are. One of our two real post offices had a notice up it was closing and people got upset and magically the sign disappeared and the postmaster said they had never really planned to close it

Anyway contract post offices generally suck in my experience. We had a few after the local great postal office consolidation and they were horrible to deal with. Seldom staffed; seldom had much in the way of stamps; and wouldn't take anything but cash. They didn't last long.

Cool story bro.
