Here's a really good report/summary of how Trump is blocking the release of the Epstein files to the public (coverup) because they have to protect the pedophiles (including Trump) which punishes the victims even more...

  • We know Trump's name will be redacted
  • Almost everything they "released" yesterday had already been released (dumbasses will think this is Trump being transparent)
  • Anna Paulina Luna says she (remember, this is a woman helping with the coverup) doesn't think releasing the Epstein files to the public will even come to a vote on the floor of the House (which is basically an admission of a coverup)
  • Pixie Mike Johnson is continue to help with the coverup by saying they're still "investigating". LOL
  • Thomas Massie (R) says there's a pressure campaign from Trump to crush any Republican who votes to release the Epstein (pedophile) files
  • Trump is counting on MAGA being stupid

I'm not going to go on and on about this fake news position by the left. I only want to point out one very important fact.
The democrats had access to all this information for 4 years! How much did they release. Let's at least admit they had the opportunity and did nothing, and now you want to complain about Trump.
I'm for transparency, but by everyone and I don't expect from one what I don't expect from all, although situation have different contributing factors sometimes. Take Biden's health and mental fitness, do you think the democrats have been transparent? Hell No! How many in Biden's admin have taken the 5th regarding Joe's health. Good for the Goose, Good for the Gander as they say.

Tu quoque. I'm not beholden to the establishment Democrats the way some people on this forum are beholden to the MAGA movement. They're merely vessels to the ideals I'd like to see in this country.
While yes, hiding Biden's health was bad, being on the Epstein list and covering it up is far worse.

I have to agree. Both sides have ignored getting the truth out because you know it goes deep. Get all the witnesses and victims in court under oath. Throw the book at the slime that tries to stay above reproach. There's probably not a jail big enough to hold them all.
 
You’re gonna be so disappointed. Who went on and on about adrenochrome and pizza parlors with basements? Who made releasing the Epstein files one of their platform planks? You lot stirred this mess up and now you’re going to have to deal with it.

That is a poor excuse why the current Trump administration is delaying releasing the information.

Well, sort of.

People are using the fact that the "files" haven't been released as prima facie evidence that Trump has done something wrong. If anyone makes that argument, they really do need to explain why the "files" weren't released at any time in the last four years.

Many people seem to have pictures in their heads of what these files look like and might contain. And of course, if they are ever made public, many of those people will say that they have "obviously" been altered because they don't contain what someone imagined they might contain.

This seems like a loser's game. I have trouble seeing how the records of a wide-ranging criminal investigation are suitable for distribution to the public without major redaction to protect innocent people. And if they are released with redaction, it will inevitably be claimed that the editing was done with sinister purposes.
 
It no longer matters. Democrats waited too long for this to become important, and Republicans have decided to use that as a wedge to cover it all up and help out some of the most wealthy and influential that do not want to see all of these documents come out.

What was released, we already knew, several times over.

This whole argument needs to die. Biden's DOJ indicted Trump "late" & they showed a lot of restraint, not rushing to charge Trump, giving him the opportunity to turn over the classified docs, etc.

For all we know, the DOJ was actively investing Trump criminally per the Epstein stuff. Sex trafficking & pedophilia is a monstrous charge.

It's a myth that the Biden admin was just willy nilly leaking shit to damage Trump politically. Merrick Garland was about as "by the book" as you can get.

1). Ghislaine Maxwell admitted that Trump never traveled to Epstein Island. If your baseless accusations against Trump were true, Democrats would've released that report 10 years ago! It's always been Republicans pushing for the client list to be released, while Democrats ignored it(til now that it's obvious that the records aren't available).

2). Flight records prove that Bill Clinton made multiple lone flights aboard Epstein's private jet. Records also show that Donald Trump made just 1 flight on Epstein's plane to NYC long ago, but he was traveling with his family! So no hooking up with anyone.

3). After Epstein perved on some girl at Mara Lago in the 2000s, Trump banned him from Mara Lago, and he cut him off altogether once reports of his criminal behavior became known. In the meantime, Clinton kept traveling on Epstein's plane and visiting Epstein Island!

4). Dem DA's protected Epstein for years, as they did with Harvey Weinstein! That's because it's mostly Dems and powerful, billionaire leftist oligarchs who used Epstein's services.
