Lol...people making one-time donations were hustled into recurring payments without their knowledge.

...what the Blatts believed was duplicity was actually an intentional scheme to boost revenues by the Trump campaign and the for-profit company that processed its online donations, WinRed. Facing a cash crunch and getting badly outspent by the Democrats, the campaign had begun last September to set up recurring donations by default for online donors, for every week until the election.
Contributors had to wade through a fine-print disclaimer and manually uncheck a box to opt out.

"WinRed" lol...more like Suckers International. They likely knew their marks wouldn't read or couldn't understand it, even if they did, especially after they marketing company enhanced their grift by introducing "a second prechecked box, known internally as a 'money bomb,' that doubled a person’s contribution. Eventually its solicitations featured lines of text in bold and capital letters that overwhelmed the opt-out language."

lol...what the bold giveth, the fine print taketh away.

The tactic ensnared scores of unsuspecting Trump loyalists — retirees, military veterans, nurses and even experienced political operatives. Soon, banks and credit card companies were inundated with fraud complaints from the president’s own supporters about donations they had not intended to make, sometimes for thousands of dollars.

lol...and the grift continued after refunds were demanded. To pay that piper, Trump ripped off a new crowd of suckers.
He was then able to use tens of millions of dollars he raised after the election, under the guise of fighting his unfounded fraud claims, to help cover the refunds he owed

Trump would steal from his own mother...
And father.

“Donald Trump tried to rewrite his father's will in 1990 to strengthen his position as the only person to inherit his father's estate, according to a bombshell New York Times report about Trump's and his family's tax practices.

Donald Trump had sent his father a document that would make him the sole executor of the estate and protect his portion of his inheritance from creditors and his impending divorce settlement, according to the report.

Fred Trump, then 85, had not seen the document before but was instructed to sign immediately, The Times reported. He saw the move as an attempt to go behind his back.

He showed the document to his daughter Maryanne Trump Barry, a federal judge at the time. She recalled in her deposition that he told her, "This doesn't pass the smell test," The Times reported.

Then Fred Trump had lawyers draft new documents stripping his son of sole control of the estate. Notes from those lawyers cited by The Times show that Fred Trump's instructions were to "protect assets from DJT, Donald's creditors."

Voluntarily donate to keep the worst president in America’s history in office, and get ripped off by the worst president in America’s history.

Instant karma.(y)
Yep, and it's all part of a larger pattern.

Of course he grifted, that's what he does.

Basically, Trump took out an interest free loan and paid it back with other suckers' money.

Chew on that for a moment

A spokesman has explained that a communication mix up resulted when the campaign sent instructions to initiate the "fee grift" instead of the "free gift" strategy.

lol...check out the standard "uncheck" boxes.

Wow! Talk about the bold giving what the fine print pretend to take away.

Well, as bad as that was, this one is even worse.

Trump would steal from his own mother...
He probably did. He definitely tried to manipulate his dying father so that could gain more for himself from Fred Sr’s will.

“The document, according to The Times, would have protected Donald Trump's portion of his father's inheritance from the people to whom he owed money and from his ongoing divorce settlement with his first wife, Ivana Trump. Had his father signed the document, which he did not, it also would have given Donald Trump sole control over his dying father's estate.”

Trump truly is a savant when it comes to the grift. He clearly identified the weakest minded and most easily influenced group of idiots in this country and is milking them dry. On one hand I almost applaud his ripping his supporters off, on the other I realize that they are just victims of the RW smear machine that Fox and Co have used to brain wash them for the past 20+ years.

Trump would steal from his own mother...
He did from his brother and a sick nephew.

Donald Trump, frontrunner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, has faced fresh criticism after it was revealed in an interview that he allegedly withheld funds for the medical bills of a sick infant due

The claim was made in a recent New York Times article which looks into Trump's relationship with his older brother Freddy, who died in 1981 at the age of 43 following years of alcoholism.

The article mentions an episode which occurred after the death of Fred Trump Sr, Donald and Freddy's father, in 1999.

Following the death of Freddy, his son, Fred III, got married and had a child. Shortly after birth, the baby began having seizures which later developed into cerebral palsy.

Where are all the trumpers?

Crickets from the Trump sycophants on the forum here. Makes me wonder how many of them got chumped..
Being the most patriotic patriot ever, I give Trump all my money, resorting to food pantries to eat.

MAGA a hundred times!

GOP donors must be gluttons for punishment.

I see they target mostly old people.

If you see Trump doing something and it does not resemble kicking babies on live TV, look again. You probably missed something.
