The Trump administration’s war on marijuana legalization may soon end.

A year ago, the Department of Justice, under the leadership of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, made a move widely interpreted as a signal to federal prosecutors and other law enforcement officials to crack down on cannabis — and marijuana businesses — in states that had legalized pot: It rescinded guidance issued during Barack Obama’s presidency that allowed states to legalize pot without the threat of federal interference even as marijuana remained illegal under federal law.

Barr indicated to the senate in written replies to questions that he would not continue the crackdown on MJ that happened under Jeff Sessions.

Yawn.

Trump is doing anything and everything to make a rucus that is NOT "the wall" or his famous "cave in".

It's "legal" nationwide here, but few stores as municipal politicians drag their feet, looking for that one line of a quote so they can say "See! I stand for something".

However, what I said to the city wide hearings is being proven out "you cannot control the growing, transportation of, sale of nor use o marijuana. It's too late for that. The "black market" has been establishing itself AGAINST "wars on drugs" for nearly seven decades and no one has even been able to slow the growth of sales, let alone discourage it. We own the market. You can try to take it back, but all know that you don't even have jail as a weapon now, and a fine is just a tax on business.

Drug legalization is here to stay, now that the democrats control the House again.
