Given their actions over the last few decades, we can easily surmise that the government does not have the same respect for the lives of it's people. As other countries would have for their own.

The whole organ harvesting fiasco has been haunting them for a long time and it only got worse when they started forcefully detaining people in the Uighur community. So much of the backlash they've received is of their own making. That you'd think they'd do something to actively counteract all of this, instead of using active propaganda.

More to the point, it is the enemy of the Chinese people.

And it is also the enemy of communism, for the Chinese dictatorship is no longer representative of idealistic communism. It is just an old-fashioned fascist government.

If you repeatedly hit yourself on the head with a hammer, and someone breaks into your house and steals stuff while you're lying on the floor, the burglar isn't your real problem.

I used to be on board with the anti-China bandwagon. But recently I've started to see it as a distraction. America's decline is due to domestic causes, China is just readying itself to take our place as we go down.
