In this increasingly partisan, polarized country it's rare that you find two politicians or pundits from opposite sides of the spectrum developing deep bonds and fondness of one another. This story between Justices Scalia and Gingsberg definitely warmed my heart up a bit and brought me back down to Earth with the realization that Scalia was still a human being.

The friendship between Ginsberg and Scalia reminds me of the movie, First Monday in October starring Walter Matthau and Jill Clayburgh. It's one of my favorite all time movies.

I have it on CD. I am a huge Matthau fan......he played the part well. Clayburgh was great as usual.
