I have not done this for awhile: I made beef ribs, old school. Used souped up Jack Daniels sauce. The boil was a 9 spice rub, sweet onion, garlic (fresh), W(Worsterwhatthe****Icantspellit) Sauce, and Apple Cider Vinegar.

Oh my, sucking on this thing is soooo much fun.

My dog gets it next.

If you can cook marrow bones just right, they're something else.

Many people don't like the texture of marrow, though.

My mom was feeding this to me at a young age. We have a place in Tacoma called MARROW, bones are always on the menu. It has been a bit of a fad in Seattle, this dish.

I like to do ribs, but my wife says the dogs are getting too old to be getting the bones.
Every time I do ribs, and throw the bones away, they look at me like I killed their best friend!

YA, we always have dogs and my current dog is near end of life. I figure her having great teeth will not help her after she is dead, so why not. We are particular about what kind she gets though, I have no interest in acting stupid.

Yea, if they just gnawed on them it would be ok, but one of the dogs crunches them up and eats them.

If you were English or from Massachusetts, you'd have an easier time with "Worcester," pronounced somewhere in between "Wuster" and "Wooster." And "shire," from which we get the word "sheriff," just means, in American-speak, "county." But here:
