Per the two cases being heard, the court's decisions will be what? Go ahead and make your prediction and have proof of how right you were after the decision comes out.
My prediction:
1. DOMA will not be overturned, although the part of it forbidding the federal government to accept gay marriage when a state creates it will be struck down.
2. Nothing in the hearing will be construed to be a mandate for gay marriage in all 50 states.
3. Homosexuals will still not be a suspect class.
4. Those that are advocates for homosexual marriage will announce this as a win even though they didn't actually win anything.
5. Those that feel gay marriage is a states rights issue will announce this as a win even though their position was weakened.
