The supposed shooter was just a patsy!

So this guy in Xitter has a decent sized following. His conspiracy theory is that it was an inside job carried out by the snipers that were in the building. The kid on the roof was just a patsy.

His initial tweet has 2.9k comments,14k reposts, 43k likes, and over 6M views.

I think I debunked him taking 5 minutes so we'll see if anyone notices.


As you can see from the photo, there are no windows visible through the crowd at an elevated level. There are fixed glass windows on that side of the building but they aren't visible through the crowd.

MAGAs love their conspiracy theories.

It's disappointing that he didn't also accuse the sniper of being an immigrant.
 
Furthermore, if the shot had come from ground level, it would have had an upward path. It doesn't. If anything it is slightly downward.

 
Not really. Trump was on a stage you would shoot over the crowd not through them.

I think the best debunking for this theory is he didn't make a kill shot. There is not a lot of value in a failed assassination attempt.

He is saying they shot from inside the building, which is at ground level.
 
I was reading that just a little bit ago, and the comments below it are just as insane.

The conspiracies have really been flying on Twitter. Sometimes all you can do is syh, it’s just nuts.

Well one of the attempt is made the first suspect is who gains. But sometimes random things just happen.

I don't think a clandestine organization would have hired a shooter to take a shot at Trump without killing him.

Yes, but you can't aim upward when the crowd is also above ground level. You cannot see the windows in the building in the photo I provided, which means you could not shoot from them up through the crowd without taking out crowd members.

Ever been behind a truck that said "if you can't see my mirrors I can't see you"? Same idea.

The guy was a patsy. He was the sacrificial lamb. He fired his weapon but not at Trump. Trumps 'wound' was inflicted by his own hand or by the SS around him.
It was all staged just to get this pic...

How the hell would you even coordinate something like that?

Edit: And for that matter if there were trained professionals using a sniper rifle doing the deed why did they miss?

Good point. NO ONE is going to hire someone like this tortured soul who was booted out of his gun club in high school for being such a terrible shot.....
