I loved the TV series when I was young, the Six Million Dollar Man. In fact, I read the book before the TV series came out. I generally don't care for remakes. Batman and Spiderman have been redone too many times. However, I think a modernized version of this series could be a hit.

Agree? Disagree?

The craft he crashes in was actual footage of the 17th flight of the M2-F2 in 1967. Peterson, the actual pilot, did lose an eye in the accident. But not limbs.

Here is footage of an good landing.

Well, now it's not nearly as sci-fi as it used to be.

They tried a Bionic Woman reboot; it was pretty bad and failed pretty quickly.

The six million dollar man would be worth thirty five million today, not six billion.

Read that in the Simpsons comic book guy voice.

It would be very politically incorrect today. He ripped Big Foot's arm off

I liked that show. I thought it was done pretty good. I even added it to my DVD/Bluray/4K collection. There are still too many people who don't like a feminine hero.

Damn bigots...

Come on, dude; doesn't have anything to do with the hero being a woman. The Bionic Woman did just fine in the '70s. The reboot just wasn't a good show and nobody watched it. It only lasted 6-7 episodes.

It went 8 episodes. I liked it, but I do like thinks most people don't. I don't have an answer as to why it failed, but it didn't have a strong of a story-line.

I remember my uncle had a Mad Magazine version of it titled: The Moronic Woman.

The show sucked as did The Bionic Woman and the Cyborg Kid with a Mecha Kong....

Were there any boys from that time that didn't verbalize Na Na Na Na... when they were running in slow motion?

I know I did.
