Which ones do you know?

Rabbinic Judaism considers seven names of God in Judaism so holy that, once written, they should not be erased: YHWH, El ("God"), Eloah ("God"), Elohim ("Gods"), Shaddai (“Almighty"), Ehyeh ("I Am"), and Tzevaot ("[of] Hosts").[1] Other names are considered mere epithets or titles reflecting different aspects of God,[2] but Khumra sometimes dictates special care such as the writing of "G-d" instead of "God" in English or saying Ṭēt-Vav (טו, lit. "9-6") instead of Yōd-Hē (יה, lit. "10-5" but also "Jah") for the number fifteen in Hebrew.[3]

The documentary hypothesis proposes that the Torah was compiled from various original sources, two of which (the Jahwist and the Elohist) are named for their usual names for God (Yahweh and Elohim respectively)

Apologies, I was just making a joke.

I was born in a Baptist household. So it was mainly Jesus' name that I heard all through Sunday school.

I agree! :)

It seems pretty likely that every name of every deity in all of history in all of the world that has a name is the name of God.

The inability of each of us to correctly understand something being told to one of us in an unfamiliar language by novel means seems understandable.

Not much different than a Tralfamadorian trying to save a family in a burning house, but then being killed by a 5 Iron wielding golf pro for his un-understood efforts.

As a species, we tend to understand things only in the very narrow spectrum in which we understand things.
