The Russian Navy's Biggest Enemy Isn’t NATO (It’s Fire)

No it wouldn't. Read the question again:

You don't need to do your usual duck, dodge, and evade - simply go back to 1945 - not centuries - and tell everyone which countries in Europe have had its borders re-drawn by military force since the end of WWII.

Shouldn't be too tough, even for you Brave Sir Robin.

Poor HD. It seems that not just in the CT section but everywhere, he is made to look clueless. No real surprise that he refuses to back up his claims here just as he does on everything else. You would think he would grow tired of being so wrong all the time.

The state of readiness of many NATO nations is appalling. For example: on exercises the German's -who 25 years ago fielded the largest, best equipped armed forces in Europe - run out of spare parts and have guys running around with hand tools instead of guns. More than half of the German Air Force is grounded for lack of spares.
The Russian/rebel forces in eastern Ukraine (blue area below) have more battle tanks than the entire Republic of Germany.

And about as many that actually work.

They all work. Russia ships battle tanks from its western/central military districts on rail flatcars to Rostov-on-Don. From there it is about a one hour drive on a tank transporter to rural agricultural roads that cross the Ukraine border. Neither Ukraine checkpoints nor international monitors (OSCE) are allowed on the border in this far southeastern portion of Ukraine. Tank munitions and fuel arrive by rail at a depot in rebel-held Debaltseve.
