Now that the election is behind us, and the Democrats control both houses of Congress, there's no reason not to admit it: the Right was right about us all along. Here is our 25-point manifesto for the new Congress:

Watch it sucker.

Some of us live in Texas(or once lived anyways) and had an enjoyable time there.

Yeah.....that was actually kinda clever and funny.

The only additional comment that I will make, however, is that the scary thing is that there are a number of people on these boards that actually believe that stuff and don't understand that it is humor.

Yea. I'll second that.

I lived in Texas a long time ago. After moving across the country, I ended up in Providence.

Shucks, from the way in which politics is already carried out in Texas, I already thought Tx was part of Mexico.

I was actually listening to a left-wing talk radio host on Air America who was for reinstating Hussein...not sure of his name but he did call him the most dangerous liberal in America...I'm fairly sure no one else will know as I think I might be the only person in the world that listens to Air America...and I keep putting .....'s I feel like Navy Pride......we shall see my liberal friend....:rofl .......

Right idea, wrong person as he is due for the big drop in a short while.

BUT, Iraq will IMHO eventually do away with any semblance of a democratically elected government, some strongman will assume the reins of power and become the new despot/Dictator. All that remains to be decided is will that person be of a Shiite or Sunni pursuasion.
I think perhaps Iraq should be split into 3 autonomous regions such as Shiite, Sunni, Kurds.
As the Kurds have a majority of Oil bearing land it could be possible that they will eventually control the rest of Iraq.

the kurds are in the north and they don't have a majority of oil bearing land. the sunnis and shiites are fighting for the oil and control of the government.
